Fake Jake
Many years ago
I proclaimed to the world
I was Jake

And I was not a fake
But I was the real deal

	But over the years
	I too have become fake
	And yes Jake
Is also nothing but a fake

from my chapbook, "fake things" on my web page https://theworldaccordingtocosmos.com...

Fake Bread
Now a days
Most of the time
I eat fake bread
            GF bread
	For health reasons
My wife can’t tolerate the real thing
	And so,

I eat fake bread
	Fake pasta
	Fake pizza

	But every so often
	I want the real deal
	I crave bread
	Made with wheat

	And a real pizza
	And real pasta
And real donuts

from my unpublished chapbook, "fake things" available on my web page https://theworldaccordingtocosmos.com...

Cyber Love
Are you the twinkle from a star?
Sparkling teeth, wide-open eyes reveal love.
Mischievous wink, a lovely smile,
Raving curly hair: deep, dark Clouds.

You the gorgeous moonlight shine,
Lost in love melodies of the night,
Bleeding heart cries the lover’s soul,
In weakness I dreams of strength.

Am I bold? Aren’t Susan’s a sight?
On my web page, you in my mind,
All J’s under wraps, am I really zapped,
Entrapped: by the exquisiteness of the net....
