Flowing all night

Was completely full
With water and with pigeons,
Drawn there by a hot day’s pull.

I watched the birds all splashing,
Beaks and feathers soaking wet,
As they cooled themselves from mugginess,
Which isn’t over yet.

Nearby, a man played trumpet;
He was learning, that was clear,
Though the pigeons didn’t let
His muted bellows interfere....

A wiley seagull bathing
under a pressure close to a full
blast, water sculpture mist curls my hair

Fast flowing streams her water fountain
Until a frog one day 
Said kiss me quick I pray
Turn into your prince on wedding day


Day arose all dressed in brilliant white
Lifted veil smiling ..oh what a fright
He gave a scream and ran
Rather stay frog not man
She looked like a potato with blight'*

At twelve I grasped my nickel
and headed back to school after lunch
just happened there was a dairy bar
on the way
double scoop of chocolate mint
must be eaten before the bell rings
lick it quick - savour that sweet creamy taste
chew up the chocolate chips
now its running down my chin and fingers
cone is getting soggy
munch munch down to the 
last mushy morsel
have to eat it fast
oh, no there is the bell
have to find a water fountain fast.....

It is hard to say in a dazed look
When the heart is lost and confused,
When it becomes dizzy looking for love
And the toilet at the same time,
In a dingy, dirty, damned place called, “life”
And holding his stomach,
The vomit spews out of mouth
Like a bursting water fountain,
Hold your breath and you might just find peace,
When the head pounds away,
And the mind starts to relax.
Light a cigarette,
Smoke,
Breathe,
Die....
