The Three Jugs

The three jugs flowing
With moving waters
All during the day
Into the evening 
Is a water fountain

Under my window
The sound of water
Flowing all night
Is peaceful and calm
Drifting to deep sleep

Well written Darlene! I love the sound of water, very relaxing! I remember returning home from 3 weeks on the Caribbean and couldn’t sleep. I realized it was too quiet...I couldn’t hear the sound of the waves crashing to shore!

That sounds really relaxing and peaceful. It is almost like when we go on holiday to the sea. I close the security gate, but keep the door open so I can hear the waves crashing down. Hello Darlene....yes, water can be a calming a sound...no water fountain here. We have an enormous mosquito problem..and since we are in a drough, we can be fined for having dripping water or even a fountain. CA has all kinds of nutty laws.)))) Higs, Pangie XXOO
