Form:
My arches have fallen and
My knees touch as I walk.
My thighs fight for space.
You want me to walk tall
My hips swinging like a fairground ride
I am broken.
My bones know it
And so do you.
I am not the person that you love.
Walk tall for you are proud
You don't have to be loud
Just show that you can shine
And you will be just fine
There is no one else like you
Don't let people talk you through
Walk tall for you are proud
Stand out from the crowd.

Belshazzar had a feast
before seeing the writing on the wall,
Quickly, falling, from the greatest to the least,
for dead-men,don't walk tall-
When lives are on God's scale
Only the just* ,live to tell the tale.
*justified This sestet inspired by Daniel 5
I love with my heart,
as deep from within,
my bowels yearn,
The desire burns,
the passion compels.
It radiates in glowing ardor
in the arena of true heart,
I walk tall,
speak less,
listen more,
Feel again,
This fire in my bones,
who can quench it?
Belshazzar had a feast
before seeing the writing on the wall,
Quickly, falling, from the greatest to the least,
for dead-men,don't walk tall-
When lives are on God's scale
Only the just, live to tell the tale.

Walk down the halls with flair
Walk down the street with your head held high
Walk into the room and make it stop
Walk tall in four inch heels
Walk tall in flats
Walk tall in sneaker
Walk tall in anything
Walk tall and keep your head up
Walk tall with
Confidence
I see beyond today,
come closer..
hear what I say;
I see beyond your mask,
trust me..
it's all I ever ask;
I see beyond your pain,
be healed..
And live again;
I see beyond your cry,
hold my hand..
I'll dry your eye;
I see beyond it all,
turn to me...
And walk tall.
I see beyond today,
come closer..
hear what I say;
I see beyond your mask,
trust me..
it's all I ever ask;
I see beyond your pain,
be healed..
And live again;
I see beyond your cry,
hold my hand..
I'll dry your eye;
I see beyond it all,
turn to me...
And walk tall.
Walk on
let the robes brush your legs
let your hair brush your shoulders
and walk tall
for you are woman in the world
released now
from school rules
do not let another govern what you
do or say
be your own woman
a lifelong task requiring defense
strong arms
high hopes
and
tequila
I stand, then fall.
But still walk tall.
I limp when hurt,
But still have a smirk.
When taken down I stand,
Courage is my brand.
In times of darkeness,
Faith gives it's brightness.
When wounded I bleed,
But my rise does not impead.
When overwhelmed by troubles,
I smile and my faith doubles.

When you give your heart to another
You bathe in the warmth of the sun
You walk tall upon the earth
Tall enough to touch the stars
You make love beneath the moon
And Venus guides your path
As you navigate the Milky Way
But when you are cast aside
You crash back down to earth
And inhabit planet Solitude
Form:
heart of pain ,
words of sorrow,
been there mate,
no tomorrow,
get back on the horse,
yes that's right,
walk tall babe,
through the lonely night!
get some strength,
just steal or borrow:)
it's alright....

To collude with the enemy
To compromise what is dear to me
To ignore the signs while crossing the line
Look back confused and question my rules
To follow with unease, so eager to please
Not this time, I walk tall, save all, heart, spirit, soul
Pride and dignity, retain my integrity
But then lost the chance to be...
With you

I step forth
By Michelle Morris
10/12/2020
I step forth into my true self
I walk forward on my destined path
I am grace and hope forthwith
I am love and light so blessed
I step forth and I walk tall
I am a true blessing to all
I am protected and guided in all ways
I am given strength for all days
Blessed be...

Go lightly...not tightly
walking tall...into walls
Fall softly...in lofty
places...of graces
Share cares...and fairs
rains...and pains
Speak kindly...and mindly
Smile broad...and laude
When you shake...don't quake
In your eyes...no lies
To the little...teach riddles
and the old...just hold
Go lightly not tightly
Walk tall ....into walls
Now frame
Kind name
Set mood
Live good
Be kind
Not blind
Walk tall
Bear gall
Be nice
Bold spice
Love lives
Just give
Faith knows
Hope shows
Love fills
Each thrill
Live ease
Plant peace
Purge hate
Seize fate
Joy knows
Fond glow
Time tells
Love dwells

Open your eyes see the beauty of dawn,
Let the pleasure ease the pain
Of forgiving yourself.
You could not have guessed walking away,
The devastation would cause
Unending guilt feeling .
Forgive yourself you did all that you could
Smile , remembering good times,
Walk tall life still goes on.

I am not a saint
Nor am i like soot
Far from a sage,
I'm just this youth,
who is too uncouth.
I'm surrounded by weeds
And in love with lilies,
Searching for a rose,
Who will bear my seeds
That will become a fruit
By then,I will walk tall.
So,when i take my leave,
And dine with the gods,
in my last home.
My heart will smile
And my cup will fill
I'm just a youth
who wants to grow
Thank you LORD
For a brand new day
A chance to learn
and a chance to pray
A chance for you
to show me the way
This new path
won’t be easy
just to know
you’re with me
sure is releaving
So I’ll walk tall
I’ll walk with pride
I’ll walk with confidence
For you’re by my side
I’ll walk with comfort
joy & glee
For I’ll walk with you
Through ‘ETERNITY’…

Dignity of Manual Labor
by Lori Maria Walton
These, my manual extensions
designed for dexterity
give, to you, my treasure
These, you take from me
denigrating my identity,
No acknowledgement of difference
only indifference and emptiness
Extend the strand you hold,
with my warmth
I will wrap and preserve
your weakness
Let me walk tall, among
your books, and give to you
the wisdom of my hands

I Slept with a Female Mosquito – part V
Anopheles! I, take my sanity, gaze at her.
Evil alter ego and Calvary spar; right in my heart
Crash her, splash her
Red birthright on the white.
Yes. A dense dark mark of her red. No – my blood
Yes, my blood and I’ll be glad.
Walk tall and yell Eureka. Spilt from the bucket!
Killed a quito dead. She dared touch me at night.
The demented pest! Decimated.
Appraised; The PS did it!
Breathe and open your eyes, you are alive!
Breathe and feel the air, it’s all around you
Breath and clench your fists, let the anger out
Walk, walk free my friend
Walk, walk tall my friend
Walk, walk like a man my friend
Sing and shout and let your head out
Sing and cry and don’t be shy
Sing and wake the worlds around you
For one thing learn something
For everything give back something
And for something don’t ask anything
Walk tall my friend,
make every step count,
look to the future,
hear the distant sounds.
Flee from yesterdays,
and from satan's hold,
remember one choice,
can destroy it all.
No one is perfect,
how could we be,
but that is no excuse,
to plant bad seeds.
Take responsibility,
then prove your worth,
it is not just one,
actions hurt.
Grow in your self,
take pride as you do,
the reflection looking back,
a stronger you.
broken mirror
The ship has gone sailed without me,
alone in a hotel room
I sweat and try to stop my hands
from trembling; where are
all my friends that drank with me in the bar.
They fired me threw me ashore
the bastards;
dignified
Walking down the gangway,
Cheap suitcase
two fingers in the air hiding
My tears
I have to leave this room,
must walk tall, I’m tough
that right, butut first
I need a little drink or two.
