Us

drawing in the night
in even breaths
the air carressing our thoughts
brought alive
in twisted vocals
barely audible
taking in warm air
thriugh slightly parted lips
as the night serenades us.

Being Married

Altercations between couples deafens explanation, fuss gets heightened.
In juggling keynotes, Love masks nuisance, openly publicizing queen’s right.
Stained truth, undoubtedly vocals wear. Xenophobia yields zeal

My free life is a bargain. A gap in time, she bellows. A right to be defenseless! Where's the body for the fray? She swipes at her air guitar, vocals screaming possession by genies in brown bottles.

Summer Night

Divine spectacle is the sky,
with stars looking like firework sparks
frozen in time. Ocean's skin glitters
in the moonlight, reflecting the clear,
night sky. The beauty is so loud
that it surpasses waves' splash,
and vocals of whales.....

Minke Whales and The Songs They Sing

Minke Whales and The Songs They Sing
Their vocals were serene
like those of Smokey 007
humming
beneath
the ocean's waves
The peaceful lyrics they sang
ignited ripples
of saltwater tears
from the roaring spring tides
beneath
the constellation tainted sky

Meowington Square

In Catsville,
delighfully fragrant,
a musky moggy croons.
Reverb resounds
as lyrics drift
"Sugar and spice
"and all things mice!"
The Siamese star harmonises
with vociferous vocals
"Gimme Gimme Gimme
a cat stick at midnight".
amid the tender purring
of a somnolent feline.

Intruders

In the wet clash of tongues,
Bent to each others desire,
Open mouth in the simple fun,
We breathe our power on life.

Intoxicated lip crushes,
Desirous of each other,
In sequestered frolic grips;
Forms vocals in intoned cries:

Wish for the kinkiest function;
And surveys high performance?

After Listening To the Association

"Songs in the Wind"
a marvelous tune
    The 60's produced some
beautiful sounds
The flute, and ah - the vocals
Dance in one's mind
   Like a piece of eight
Have you seen the wind recently?
It is still there blowing warm from the South
  The wind sing songs
   sweeter than any produced
      by the hand of man

Faraway Eyes

Acoustic dip the hills,
ghost vocals of the night,
reverberate sweet shudders,
breathing hymns of flight.

Flatlined in the dust,
prone of distance slain,
yet phoenix be my love,
will rise and soar again.

Tears of silver rain
and echoed plaintive cries,
reflect the yearning flames
lucent in faraway eyes.

A Single Life

Waking nightmares
singing lullaby's
inside of my head

A demented, Gothic opera
Broadway renditions
propagates death

Quantum variations of sadness
Spotlight from starlight upon the stage
Opening for the tango of his soliloquy

Fragmented perceptions
Heart-beats like violin strings
To the tragic vocals of...

A single life

Premium Member Thank You James Taylor

How sweet it is to be loved by you.
Thank you James Taylor. Thank you.
Carly Simon, his wife, added her beautiful vocals as harmony.
This couple was incredibly “hot” in 1975.
Back in the day, when calling a woman “baby” was acceptable.
How sweet was this song, we listened to, from our Gorilla album.
Thank you James Taylor. Thank you!

Premium Member Dance of Cranes On Coming Home

It waits on the wedge of a field
no longer lonely, another
floats in for a landing above
 a sea of yellow flowers

Who will forget that wonderful fuss,
the mock scolding of an absence
now being celebrated
The preaching by a full range of
vocals - wing tips folding and unfolding
against a new, and thinking sky

Premium Member Weighted By the Fog

The crows' caws weighted by the fog
float upon heavy air
and katydids sing elaborate
tunes, songs not so rare

Summer's vocals freely vibrate
Around headed to fall
The last chance to flirt and dance
Before Jack Frost's first call

The hum of a well tuned engine
Summer's delicate sounds
Shortly will be ushered into
winter's end, wait__ spring's crown

Premium Member Ethereal

Evening breeze entices mortal souls,
Tangled dreams drifting amidst stars.
Harmonized vocals whispering with promise,
Elated to bask under heaven's dome,
Reincarnate bold ideals that strive to flourish.
Exhaling goodwill at every beat.
Audible gasps at the strike of midnight
Laden with hope for humankind.
