In Catsville,
delighfully fragrant,
a musky moggy croons.
Reverb resounds
as lyrics drift
"Sugar and spice
"and all things mice!"
The Siamese star harmonises
with vociferous vocals
"Gimme Gimme Gimme
a cat stick at midnight".
amid the tender purring
of a somnolent feline.
