Weighted By the Fog

The crows' caws weighted by the fog float upon heavy air and katydids sing elaborate tunes, songs not so rare Summer's vocals freely vibrate Around headed to fall The last chance to flirt and dance Before Jack Frost's first call The hum of a well tuned engine Summer's delicate sounds Shortly will be ushered into winter's end, wait__ spring's crown

What beautiful imageries dear Sara, I live in the tropics so we are not blessed with the highs and lows of seasonal changes. One cannot enjoy the warmth of summer unless one goes thru the coldness of winter, such is the wisdom of God, I loved your poem. Luv, Tiaua.

Aye, Summers on the turn, Autumn now awaits, then the cold arrives, as we venture through Winters gate. The afresh the season brings, probably my favourite season, yep, it's Spring. Lovely poetry Sara - James ........ :)

Dear Sara, You have some brilliant imagery in this poem - the crows weighted by fog, katydids singing and Jack Frost coming to call. I know you'll be as happy as I will when the weather cools off. Love and blessings, Carolyn
