Aging like wine,
the phrases they flow
Their vintage in rhyme
—forever to know
(Villanova Pennsylvania: March, 2018)
my body's a vintage car ~
grace and humor are my shock absorbers

suave chaps stand ready
a vintage champagne flowing
musical tones swell
as loathsome ladies babble~
this years wallflowers in bloom
Love on canvas
A vintage moment
A collage complete
Put together
Emotion from
Pieces of words
Combined out of love

from another age
medieval tapestry
of charming patterns
swooning ladies~gallant knights
all woven with silken thread.
Clinquant
Silver, garland
Sparkling, twinkling, trimming

Vintage russet leaf
pirouettes one final dance
Farewell performance
Grandmother's linen
Brief look into bygone day
Antique memories
Soft monogrammed sheets with lace
Carefully laundered.
Like wine
deep in the racks
poems
carefully age
Each of a
vintage
a time and a place
— labeled to consume
(The Rathskeller: July, 2015)
I like red she likes white,
I understand her feelings
She understands mine.
Cheese and Vintage wine.
A rush of adrenaline,
I'm into a hot night.
As I age my husband says I resemble fine champagne...
Does that mean I’m fruity, full bodied, and always sparkling!

Vintage photo hanged
In the defaced wallpaper
A remembrace of years
Recollected and encased
In the cedar chiffonier

The wake-up call woke me,
grabbed the copper vintage rotary
phone, no line. The ringing
continued, where? Hung up the
wall phone in the bathroom.
A rusty old retro vintage bubblegum drop machine
Positioned next to me as I am seeing above me
Spherical lightbulbs and strobelights of flashing rainbow colours.
One woman of a certain percentage,
Kept her upkeep to skillful advantage.
As the years sped past,
She maintained her class;
Not turning old but into fine vintage.
Poets mute muse dreams
Strumming Earth's echoes to life
Soul marinates ink
Nature's strings compose sweet tunes
Vintage leaves dance like heartbeats
I cut off the chicken legs of my dusty house
I live in this tin with a little grey mouse
Each year on Halloween I put candy out
And catch me some kidniks to grind into grout,
aged valise
in field of ferns,
burlap coat
to shield love’s pain-
vintage tote
reveals its past,
hoping to find youth again

Let me take vintage from the looks,
Blue, reddish and deep dreamy,
For transient is the taste of wine,
But a drop sipped from the eyes,
Intoxicates quality of permanence.
A score of years
Leaves vintage earrings
Faded cards
Photos
Mixtapes
Nighties
Places now gone
And empty air
That was once dipped
In
Great Passion.

Louis the Sixteenth vintage rotary dial phone
realistic, except for the pinkness.
genuine antique phone was copper and back
still I all loved it and wanted one exactly like it.

Form:
i'm a belly
barrel full
of wine
but i've
been laying
down
all this
time so
don't
drink
from
me
as
i do
you
even though
i'm well aged
now vintage
i
have
soured
Form:
a thin film of pride
scorn'd by the green and vintage
merlot dialogues
coagulated thoughts, make
growing pains turn arthritic

If I never learn to take criticism.....how will I grow?
Cattle-crowd follows the lackadaisical vertiginous spiral.
Choose rather the Holy Spirit vintage guide—
supernal climb as the compass points to Ever-rest.
