Premium Member Holocaust

Whenever I'm feeling depressed
in my world so very dark,
I think about the holocaust victims and survivors
and realize that my life is a walk in the park.

Deep Thought

In
Deep thought
Man may lost
His own light sight
Some of his deep thoughts
Very dark day and night
So furious sad thinking
Yet in there are dark and light gems
Like green emerald and black agate
Pure diamonds red ruby tiger eyes

Night's Companion

She slowly fades into the very dark,
Where art thy shades, earth's gentle spark?
Beneath the clouds hid thee thou
And thy rays bound in upper caves
Come forth with haste and thy feeble flee
For your lights are pleasing to dwell with.

Night So Boring

Nights when there is nobody
And darkness drops in sultry
Nights when the sky is moody
And the stars sparkle nothing
When the moon is very dark
Glowing from its cold back
Shining on black tree barks
When boredom comes and hijack
The hopes of fun and make nights slack

Premium Member The Road Back

A simple rhyme for a very dark time
The road back, sure, an arduous climb
Tentative steps, cautious probes
  Sporting still protective wardrobes

Yet before long, like forests scorched
  Creature habitats by fire torched
Soon enough we'll be scampering gaily
  Reveling in routines familiar daily

Premium Member Joyful Laugh

She watches me with those purposeful eyes Staring straight into eyes bright Love is her pure delight Her laugh will light up a very dark room Sending chills of joy through me A loving escapade We hold hands, a tenderness between us She signals her approval By a grandiose smile

Cloud

I had a big cloud
in my sky
a very dark cloud
blocking my sight
I couldn't see the sun
I couldn't see the light
I couldn't see the path
for my life...

I had a big cloud
but then it rained
and the water washed
the darkness away
down went the black
down went the pain
back came my sun
on your face.

I Can'T Imagine My Life Without Internet

The internet is humanity’s greatest invention
It connects us all and keeps our attention
It has so much to offer, too many things to list
It is truly, an extraordinary gift

While the internet is not always the greatest
And there are some very dark places
I think that the good outweighs the bad
And for that, I am glad

Joyful Heart

J-oyful heart beats in harmony,
E-ven though it feels the pain;
M-inding not the saddest agony,
E-very dark cloud and rain.
L-onely tears turn into glee,
I-nclement clime doesn't remain;
T-he happy days always start,
A-s you possess a joyful heart.

Deep Within

One might take away
The stars from the
Night, leaving a
Very dark and empty
Sky

One might try to take
The sun away, causing
It's radiant light to fade
And die

One might be able to
Take the rain away,
So that our tears
We can no longer hide

But one can never take
Your love dear Lord,
From its cherished place
Within my heart and mind

It's Me

It's me, it's me!
I'm not what you say,
Can you not see?
I do not look that way!

No! Please don't go!
I swear I'll try harder!
Please, don't you know
that my thoughts will stray farther?

It's so very dark.
My stomach is churning.
I feel something... A spark?
I think that I'm learning!

This voice was my friend,
It must now meet it's end.

Premium Member When you pay rent of Hell

When you pay rent of hell a register appears in your house
A rent book and black pen
Your actions essence turned into knots that appear as black ropes
Your thoughts noted in a book and weighted on the scales of the register.
Very dark in your eyes with visions of hell.
To break these knots, you need golden points in heaven.
A demon following you.

Through the air, through the night,
Something was felt, felt with much might;
It could not be seen, it was very dark,
It caused no pain, it lit no spark;
Yet there was no doubt, there was something there,
A distinct mark was made, a mark most rare;
What left such a mark, no one knew for sure,
The evidence of the event, will allow it to endure.

reddened eyes reading what I wrote.
Instructions for funeral readings I want spoke.
my motives and reasons I quote.
suicides my option the knife to my throat.
one single crimson drop lands on my coat.

Premium Member Haunted Lighthouse

The night was very dark, the rough seas gave out a bark. Would our small boat the Ark, make it in these tall waves or stay in park? Then we spotted the light, it was small and not bright. Just a blink of white, then out of site. We finally got docked, were told the lighthouse could not be unlocked. It was haunted many would say, we know the truth about that day.

The Dad and His Boy

“Dad can we go to the park ?”
“Not now son it’s very dark”
“But I can’t get to sleep. I’m not very tired"
"Son you’re excited and very live wired"
"But Dad I could run and then I would sleep"
"I think that the running ‘til tomorrow will keep"
"OK Dad, will you read from my book"
"Yes son which one lets have a look"
Pages were turned and stories told
The Dad and the Boy. It never grows old

Swan Song

The toppled gravestones,
I still count the heads.
I will go with your swan song,
the bond erupts.

You were always sitting under the
           bougainvillea, waiting for the swallow.
           The next door summer arrives;
Why did you say, it was biting cold ?

The door shuts on the moon.
It was obviously very dark,
and I was searching the space
between ’yes’ and ‘no’.

Fireflies

It’s an interesting thing that little children do,

Catching fireflies in a jar not thinking it through.

They cover the jar and tighten the jar lid,

Placing it in the bookcase from mother it’s hid.

Tucked in their beds in a very dark room,

The tiny lights dancing as if to a tune.

Then slowly one by one the lights go out,

It wasn’t a good idea, of this I don’t doubt.
