The Dad and His Boy

“Dad can we go to the park ?”
“Not now son it’s very dark”
“But I can’t get to sleep. I’m not very tired"
"Son you’re excited and very live wired"
"But Dad I could run and then I would sleep"
"I think that the running ‘til tomorrow will keep"
"OK Dad, will you read from my book"
"Yes son which one lets have a look"
Pages were turned and stories told
The Dad and the Boy. It never grows old
