Bistro Boheme - a French poetry band that sets old classics into song
How does it sound when Rimbaud rocks and Baudelaire has got the Blues?
When Verlaine vibes to the beat and Apollinaire to arpeggios?
Bistro Bohème tries to answer these questions!
We are a French poetry band, all living together in the same Berlin flatshare.

Im Sorry Rim,
As I reach my hand twords the light, I see you. I feel you. You must see me too, my love.
Its almost as if your still here.
You we're the one person that mde me feel, the one person I could rely on when I was in need.
And I killed you.
I shot you.
I shot and killed the one person who could make me feel like an actual person.
My dear Rim, I'm sorry. I'm sorry....

Quatrain Tranquil Eyes
Poet, Rich of my quiet cherry trees,
Of my peaceful lilacs like pink stones,
Rich in my willows in ardent prayer, prose,
I can finally think of your tranquil eyes.

Poète, Riche de mes cerisiers tranquilles,
De mes lilas paisibles comme des pierres roses,
Riche de mes saules en ardente prière, prose,
Je peux enfin penser à tes yeux tranquilles.

inspired by french poet Paul Verlaine...

Love Is Signed To Lies
Awake from a slumber
Raise head above parapet.
You then stand stock-still, a sad
Sorry being.

Live your days
And soon months as a shadow.
An unreachable figure.

Why speak? You're not profound
Do not dream as a Rimbaud,
Or long for a Verlaine.
It's the ending you fear.

That time passed speaks off a yearning
And wallowed in romance. Love becomes
A strange thing that twists and cuts.

For what we call love
Is but the shudder of lust
On any youth's shoulder....
