Beautiful Moments, Painful Moments
The hurting verdure
Has swamped my mind completely
With lingering past
Do not know how to endure
Haunting union in meadows.......

The Simpler Beauty 2k13
Show I not scrapers of skies, but majestic
Snow-capped mountains in alpine glow.
Show I not individuals of plastic;
But verdure and sylvan where songbirds show....

Autumn
Endings starting
Leaves are turning
Grass starts browning with
Furnaces burning.
Colder weather
As to focus,
Deeper feelings in
Shallow harvest.
Briskly, daunting
Haunting Spirits
Barren-halled reckonings as
Frost encroaches.
Verdure withered but
Perhaps a good Word;
forgotten pasts buried
In the stillness of the earth....

Hope
I have hope now,
Hope in the eyes of an angel
Heaven sent, eyes shining forth light
Illuminating my darkened crevices
Shining amongst the ruins,
And in that light, I can now see
Verdure once dead,
Begin to take on new life
Like a long awaited spring,
Home now, smiling with its arrival,
Gently ebbing away the bitter
winter,
Of the season past...

We hope you'll join us for a bowl of soup.
With no further ado, we welcome one

How lovely is when
early spring turns land
crops with youth verdure
for honor and love
hidden and broken.

Nature whispers
emerging from
winter wholly
hibernation.

A hurried
sun glances
dressing fields.

In rich
blossoms-

Spring

Black bears emerge from their dens to refuel on spring greens
and the remnants of last autumn's berries.

Lovely Birds Life
Birds are happy pleased I swear
They are satisfied
Homes in the trees
Early in the morn, hungry they go
At sunset, full they come
Every day is a festival
They talk birdsong
Daytime among verdure and flowers
Raindrops their showers
Sleeping on time
Healthy they are
No impression nor vigil
Marriage in a minute
No money
No mine nor yours
Just fly to get things
All things are free
The land is wide
The sky is wider
Wake up and fly!...

Newly cut grass, glistening with dew
Lawnmower a-purring, blades a whirring
Of an early Spring morning, fond memories of you ...
Slicing through tufts of verdure, my senses a-stirring
~ Green piles, scented hills: fresh, alluring

Breathe in the air deeply, hold it a spell
Spring's mint fragrance, a billowing sail
Ahhhh! that invigorating fresh-cut grass smell …
Stretch your arms outward, upward, your held breath exhale
