Hope

I have hope now,
Hope in the eyes of an angel
Heaven sent, eyes shining forth light
Illuminating my darkened crevices
Shining amongst the ruins,
And in that light, I can now see
Verdure once dead,
Begin to take on new life
Like a long awaited spring,
Home now, smiling with its arrival,
Gently ebbing away the bitter
winter,
Of the season past

Beautiful lines with optimum light, as spring is on the way, things for sure turns and melancholy becomes monsoon. A blissful read. Thanks for penning this.
