Rusted Blood, a Shot-Put Heft
Rusted blood, a shot-put heft
Is shot from chamber's side
What treasure stores are in my chest?
What stores can heart-valves hide?...

Breaking Veins
Butterflies within the valves
Petal wings that slice you right
Relatively long pieces with little packages of greatness
Wholeness spreading in the flux of blood
Insects turn their heads towards then
Turn away...

Ham
i'm a book collector of the old,
ham radio books to me are gold,
the ancient ones with valves and such,
I make long wire aerials to keep in touch,
i'm vk4pr of Queenslands fold...

dont do it now so much...

A
Lot
Of beats
Everyday
Causes to the heart
Beat at a rapid rhythm and
The valves to regurgitate the blood that flows through you
Reinventing and modifying your lifestyle to correct the bothersome effects

Poet's Fortune Cookie
Don't rip your heart open too deep
(All they'll see are the valves and the veins)
Don't puke out your guts in one heap
(All they'll smell is the rotten Chow Mein)

Footnote: I decided to enter this as my worst poem because it really stinks and makes me want to throw up......

beware the dark night
zombies lurk to snatch raw flesh --
      blood oozing on nails

in macabre hours--
     spiked claws rip heart valves
for howling carnage

say all your prayers
     before chainsaws rupture heads--
 massacre starts, now

I'Ve Been Working In the Crematory
I've been working in the crematory,
All the livelong sob story,
Can’t you hear the gas jets breathing?
Play too close and you’ll get urned.
Plus we only queue up two-a-day,
So you could really mess us up,
too.
Till six o’clock when on the dot,
The valves are turned to plumb true,
The breathing stops,
Yabadabadoo....

Not So Romantic Poem
Take a piece of my oversized pumping heart
Make aortic memories, oh so grand
Break not this adoring atrium to start
Quake from the rhythmic beat under your hand

Gain affection from each side ventricle
Plain adoration felt by thick blood flowing
Vein flutters, valves and arteries a-tickle
Rein it in, your romantic side is showing...

A Murder of Crows
several cowardly shadows seize a plane
lead by a promise of utmost grandeur
driven by words incoherent and insane
a bold attempt to disrupt our lives our demeanor
a failed thought to clip the eagle's wings
a murder of crows take flight to deliver
their deadly message of suicide and war
three planes in all yet our heart has four valves
and still pumps RED white and blue...

You spoke a new language
  of rarefied air
  guided nonchalantly
  through curving channels of brass

Conduits of cool
  juries of jazz
  floating past soulful valves
  harbingers of what will come

Slender fingers
  improvising storylines
  magistrates of melancholy
  bailiffs of bop

Miles from the mainstream
  a milestone of
  modern modalities
  kind of blue...

Punishing a Defaulting Unionist
Loosen now his tight valves.
You do nothing by halves
Not like you've bruised his calves
While he's not got what salves...

His tube deflate through valve:
With six-inch nail hit valve,
The air in tube to halve;
When cops into it delve,
Say "A case of mad valve!"

Ask me my opinion:
It's a heart cast- iron:
A daring to pinion
The arms of one's union,
Dues slicing like onion
In Crowned Lion's Union....

Premium Member I Hear Celtic Harps Singing
I went down to the zoo today, I watched the pink flamingos cuddle their lovely long necks swaying in little loving nuzzles. Such graceful heartstrings they caressed my spirit; brought me to a near swoon. Such passion those two did possess; were so very much in-tune. Leaving my heart valves, all aflutter those flamingo bells were ringing. The ecstasy they appeared to muster that I heard Celtic harps singing.

Accident
By Fatmir Terziu

Read the lightning cloud!
In the sky stabbing exchanges
Where amid the still smoky sadness
The sluggish revealing of letters begins
In the rampant turning of the tearful eye.

Somewhere amid these feelings
Icy particles begin to grunt
Starting for the funeral parlour
And making the shovels ready.

So flaming and smouldering
It burns the headlights and the Ferod in the wheels
The kiss that remained saddening
In the stuck aorta valves....

Love and Lust
Love and lust intertwine like the valves of the heart
Love more powerful, yet just as deceitful
Lust is fun and energetic
Love leans toward emotions and time
Lust, a mental and physical chemistry that will not last
Confusion is what both love and lust can cause
Somedays I love you, however, it's not true
I lust after you day in and day out, for you love another
Love and lust intertwine like the valves of the heart
Love or lust, which is our lifeline?...

Inside the Heart (Poems From 7th Grade #4)
Many scientists know that there are many parts of the heart
From the four valves to the aorta,
It is a beautiful thing
But there are many parts of the heart that not everyone knows about
There is lots of wisdom that fills it
It makes you figure things out easily
Love is another main part
It is the life force of everything
It helps you to find friends
And to love others with respect
Now you know, that the hear isn't just a muscle
It's a machine of love and power....

In Motion
My heart in motion
palpitates a wild tarantella,
resonates vibrant valves
and grieves for you,
my choosing.

Then juiced on devotion,
elevates a blue umbrella,
supplicates and salves,
in letting go,
fears losing.

The reversal of motion
integrates calming distance,
initiates fast retreat,
this failing heart
lest I forget it.

No more to cry an ocean,
abdicates my once insistence,
resuscitate a love so sweet
become my life,
and not regret it....

I Had That Dream Again
I had that dream again.
It was due, but still unexpected.
The reality upon waking,
a shot to the chest.
Inticately wedged your bullet back home
where it belongs
between beats and valves.
I pray for my heart to be still
to die inside and be free of you.
Kick loose this ball and chain.
A force that cannot and will not
be measured by magnetism.
Excluded by gravity, you pull me
then push me away like the tides.
Do you dream of me? Or do you wake
and thank God it was all a dream?...
