Synthetic Lies

In the sea
Of your mind
There is something
You’re trying to hide
I see it vaguely
In your eyes
I see it through
Your synthetic lies

You think I will fully adhere at all to and fully believe
What mere mortals have so vaguely written or previously said?
None of you will realize what I see, until we're dead.

Alumnus

Annual reunions,
he keeps coming back
to this school campus

like a restless dog
haunted by a place
where it vaguely recalls

having buried long ago
something truly
precious!

Ah, Spring

Jupiter anchored high in a still blue darkening sky,
framed by dispersing contrails, vaguely pink,
the exhaust of happy vacationers,
headed south, dragging winter with them.
Ah, spring.

Sunset

The past is fiercely orange,
fluent in the language of the sunset.

The promises are vaguely gray
dumped in the expectations of tomorrow.

Not knowing to hope
or just to reflect
the unknown
sprouting in my soul...

You and World

don't you understand
the wind was reversed
not easy to feel
haul suddenly hits

don't you hear
doors knocking vaguely
not to be aware
if you don't expect desperate

you and world in relationships

Honing Flesh

Seatless, with your best last breath,

nakedly being blessed,

being surrounded by white walls
and a waltz-

this wake-up in the dark is a phase of your in-kin,

finding their next bike-spin,

pleasantly yet vaguely obeying the jim.

Away From, Away To

strange, I vaguely recall

the sad joy of returning,

of being back to a place

I can't remember

leaving...

where I must have writhed

in pain with the ache to stay,

wrestled with, but lost to, the

urge to leave, and stay

away.

I Will Remember

I remember the smell of the desert
The sand between my little toes
Warm, Sunny, Beautiful
The sun setting on the orange sand
The howling of the coyotes
Soothing
Very soothing
The curious creatures crawling
I remember the beautiful desert
I will always vaguely.......Remember
sad

In dilemma

Today’s world-- weird, far too sure,
And looking too far gone for cure,
Where confidence is power,
Overconfidence, dour,
I wonder a curious
Smug look that lacks focus
Can take me far vaguely unsure.

A Heart Broken

What happens to a heart broken?

Does it dissipate vaguely like a wave in the ocean?

Or bleed like a punctured wound-
and then die?

Does it flame like burning fire?
Or crash and burn forever-
like a blazing rose?

Maybe it just quits like a forgotten love..

Or does it mend itself?

Strangely Familiar

Damn, that face looks oddly familiar though a bit
Enigmatic too, somehow I cannot seem to nail it

Just where I met her, maybe in school or in some
Arty hangout, or perhaps way back during a prom.

Vaguely recognizable yet, mysteriously intriguing,
Unless she is an outgrowth of my wild imagining.

Shes Gone

well, i was right.
i knew i would be,
but you wouldnt listen...
you said,
"no...she loves me."
well, that might be true
but who's she with?
not you....
but i vaguely remember,
me warning someone,
oh wait, it was you!
wow, bet you wish
you listened, huh?
oh well...
not my fault...i tried to warn ya

The Tree's Legacy

The tree is dying,
Its color slowly fading,
Desperate, he keeps writing,
Vaguely Degrading.

The tree knows his time has come,
He knows his death is soon,
So he dwells in what he's become,
Wallowing so dark and gloom.

Though he feels he will leave no legacy,
He'll leave behind plenty of beautiful seeds.

Give Us the Answer

If your even vaguely religious and
 think God is the creator.
Kneel, clasp your hands together and pray
 because I need the answer,
why the hell is there Cancer?
It has no regard for age, colour or creed.
What is the thinking behind this indiscriminate disease?
If you get a response please tell me please.

Dreams

Dreams. Every one
makes for us a new life,
home, some things vaguely
familiar to the waking state,
but strange enough to
hold out the chance of
a new start. Then we
wake up (we almost never
really do) and find the old
unfold a little more, and
chances seem about the size
of yesterday's.

Premium Member Haven of Love

Lush green trees,
Surrounds our haven of love
The twitter of the birds, our music
The sun embraces the mountain top,
Playfully waving goodbye to the day

Two figures, vaguely visible
The sand creeping in between our toes,
The chilled wine, a distant memory
As you hold me close, slowly moving
Your lips over mine…
