Vagaries of Season
Autumn a loneliness
Winters in regress
Spring forth unto blessings
Summer’s sigh of happiness...

The vagaries within
truth and falsity …
are greater than
 the differences between them

Fate
Silently now
I tiptoe near,
Longing for his touch.
Vagaries of Fate, how cruel,
Escape is impossible.
Release me never....

Life’s equilibrium hanging on force of gravity
Rotating day and night uniformly in parity
In mystique of universe ceaselessly expanding;
Will vagaries of time tip the balance of being?

Vagaries of Time
When we are young, time seem so slow.
"Please, hurry up, I want to grow!"

In middle age, it races by.
"I need more time!" is what we cry.

Now we grow old, it drags again.
"When will I have release from pain?"...

They Were Born Lucky
Eagles make nests in them
Vagaries of life stamp their backs
Blood delicious for mosquitoes
Ghosts of hatred pay regular visits
Patrons of hunger pray for them
Exploited but paid well they are
With currencies of negligence
And gift packages of mockery...

The Road To My Past
There is in my mind a lane
A place I blocked with a pane
Alas all the Keys & locks
with all the mental blocks

I sneaked back to take a peep
I ended up taking a sip
My memory, a place I live.
Now moved afar by vagaries of life

Today, a sip became a bath.......

The Vagaries of Time
The vagaries we grope with
The triumph of temptation avails
as the wind claws

Each heart is an ineligible abscess
Twisting lanes
Eternity scatters west
it all goes on paper
searching for a lunar shrine
a secret of scribbling sands
amongst the discounted heart...

in the waves of uncertainty
the flame of bliss remains steady
immune to the vagaries of fickle fate
to plunge into the void we are ever ready

the universe will test us again and again
remember we had signed up for this
fullness in emptiness is the norm
delight of Divine Mother’s kiss...

A Different Road
Men prepare for the road ahead
And I implore you be not late,
You need carry no belongings
Save the vagaries of your fate.

Know when you take this journey long
You would traverse beyond the blue,
Walk the path your precursors took
Though they had not the faintest clue.

is that a tremor
  calm down, take it easy
sure it is, distinct this time
  fingers trembling slightly

get a grip now
  no, I can't
I can't grip my pen
  my fingers are shaking now

O, the vagaries of age
one goes from light to dark
in the tensing of the neck
and the knot of the stomach...

how much truth could our world contain ~ all of it until the humans came

so how much lies do we contain ~ none whatsoever we pass on blame

then how much balance does god contain ~ that depends more or less the same

these monokus are pointless and lame ~ no just vagaries of my brain

By whose will
Are we still
Sometimes agitated
Or tranquil & elated

The currents
To which sentient
Follow a divine rhythm
Reflected in the prism

Of form

We may yet choose
Without excuse
Ceasing to weigh or size
Simply vaporise

Singing the bliss tune
To external vagaries immune
Ceasing to resist
Being to become a bliss mist

Eternal

Henry was saddened by the work of another writer.
It was time for them to leave.
So they went off course for awhile,
Leaving destruction and madness in their wake.
The spring was blossoming with the vagaries of scents
Coming from the roots of loved.
Marigolds, thighs, nosegays, water crescent.

The time was lush with heaven puff.
We crept slowly through this village....

The Vagaries of Mind
My mind wanders here and there,
It has no bounds or limitations,
It keeps on thinking,
Various thoughts,
Sometimes ridiculous and at times,
Crazy and idiotic,
 It quells my sleep,
And bothers my peace,
I seek solace in prayer and meditation,
Which gives me temporary ease;
The erratic thoughts come back,
To me, with incessant worries,
Which sap my energies,
And keep me hankering for serenity....

The Vagaries
The vagaries are flying today. Those gossima-winged insubstantial escapees related by birth to thoughts as yet unformed. I sense them circling, see their flights they glitter and dim as fireflies do. To capture a few I must let go of them, let them crash land in the mire of mind. coated in just a little weight that they might be seen and named, coerced to speak as if they belonged to this earth.

With One Vagaries of Weather
With the vagaries of weather,
One wishes one had Bird's feather
For a flight to a safer zone,
Where heat nor cold might crush the bone...

With the storms and ones of weather
Much focus on being together
He ceases who does wealth gather
Men with kids play roles of father

How many of us can storms weather
Without cast glances at Ether?
Who can cold fend off with cow leather
Or would bathe and soap calmly lather?...

Time
Sailing with the time
Where no two moments rhyme
I know not where to stop
I know not where to hop
Like the wind directs the sails
My life goes where the time hails
Where it will lead me I don’t know
To its commands I have to bow
Time takes away sheen from faces
It unties all those tangled laces
Those who direct the sails with precision
For them success comes in succession
Those who endure vagaries of time
Live life to its prime……....

The wind
has blown hard all day
and pivots torn leaves
around wounded trees.
It possesses no pity
but follows a mindless
command to play out
its might.

The world is so.
Regardless
it goes its way
and blinds with both
beauty and disease,
pauses a living breath
to marvel at creation
or stops it dead
by an accident.

Faced
with such vagaries,
with suffering,
with no answers,
what is there to do
but care.

Great, snow-flocked pines, of unimagined beauty
soar over the vagaries of on-line banking

There, among the towering clouds, and
I-pad intentions, a stillness persists,
unchanged for millennia

Alone, in my designs, carefully crafted in words
and images, I invoke meaning from faraway times,

Content to back-them-up in my word processor-

Time and Destiny
Time taught me to drink the poison of life To keep wrapped those everlasting wounds To collect the pieces of shattered dreams And to dare to dream, even after all this Would never change ,I promised myself Yet I changed, every mirror says On a journey, not knowing my destiny Left all alone ,to find my way Change ,pain, vagaries of time, one has to bear Also filled with all colors and hues of peace and love Life is the gift, of time and destiny

Reasons For My Love
I love the way she wears the sun
In her hair; and the way the rain
Beads on her delicate shoulders;
I love when her eyelids flutter
In early morning springtime breeze;
I love the way she pouts and sulks
When things don’t seem to go her way;
I love it when she feigns anger
That’s soon betrayed by a smile;
I love the look of guiltiness
On her face after we make love;
I love her childlike naiveté;
Her occasional whininess
And vagaries that define her....

Thank You
Thank you,
To all who showed restraint,
And refrained from Vandalising signs,
Put up by those hoping to be elected,
To serve on local bodies.

I know more might have been tempted,
So give yourselves a pat on the back,
For letting democracy run its course,
And leaving it up to your vote to give vent to your feelings.

Despite all its vagaries,
Seeming to most as changeable as the weather,
Democracy cuts less lives short,
Which other alternatives bear witness to....

The Sleep I Get!

The sleep I get - like spouse, or mate,
Or weather -sometimes isn't great,
Still, I confess there is a bond,
Of vagaries (it seems I'm fond)!
Like rainbows, all appear then go,
(Self-confident as April snow.)
It's true, I'm old and what know I,
When dust is Apple in my eye,
At least speck's pain creates a need
For otherwise, I'm bored indeed!
"To feel, to feel," love does pay rent,
Though soon we die, it's life's intent!
