Azure's Not Always Pretty
the mind of the unthinking
is the color of the sky
on clear sunny days...

Premium Member Where Are We
Our reflex instinct
Where is it rooted
Unthinking response
Is it innocence
Are we sleep walking

We contemplate
Employ free will
Our thoughts distil
Let love elate

When awake
Or asleep
Where are we

Is yet
Stillness

Void

Unthinking
Earth was sending a long
shadow on the moon.
A great night for both of them.

        *

A city of dreams
lies still. A divine path
opens for the erring earthlings.

        *

A night falls
surreptitiously on the lake.
The moonlight was trapped by waves.

What the Heck Am I Thinking
What the heck am I thinking
I should maybe go drinking
And hear music plinking
With the glasses of clinking
See some girls winking
It has my eyes blinking
To be so drunk stinking
With all this linking
To a feeling of sinking
And the ego of shrinking
From all the unthinking
Sounds like fun
See ya later...

Rude People

      Do really exist!
Where do these monsters come from?
      Cruel, unthinking, unkind.
      Need Manners College.
      To respect all humankind.
      To another, be not blind!

Accusing Whom
The unthinking begins again
watching a lunar
explosion.

The smallest droplet:
I never had any agenda,
holding on to emptiness.

A dark jumps out at me.
I push the light
forward?

to see your face, O
invisible. Where the road
ends ? I want to start

my new journey, unloading
the accumulated wealth
of erudition.

The Mountain Eco
Yes,it was the Mountain Echo
Solitary,clear,profound
Answering to the shouting cuckoo,
Giving to her sound for sound!

Unsolisited reply
To a babbling wanderer sent;
Like her ordinary cry,
Like but oh,how different!
Hears not also mortal life!
Hears not we,unthinking creatures
Slaves of folly,love of strife
voices of two different nations!...

A Lone Journey
Invasion was thin
like a feather’s fall
on the mirror.

Only bride will know,
the rose petals were
meant for unthinking.

Scattering rice
to dig out the tools
of prehistonic man.

The previous night
I taught myself
how not to peel the oranges?

with bare hands,
in terror, when there was
endless path to unknown.

Lights dawning
Sleepyheads yawning
Babies crying
Mothers sighing

Coffee pouring
Busses roaring
Winds shifting
Debris drifting

Laborers hurrying
Rats scurrying
Teen-agers snoring
Alarm clocks ignoring

Stoplights blinking
Drivers unthinking
Airplanes arriving
Passengers surviving

Tender hearts
Works of art
Lovers part
A new day starts...

Weeding out our lower aspect, which we in silent contemplation detect, stretching the zone of polarity interchange, in prayerful stillness our core we rearrange, that that our unthinking reflex instinct, suffused with the perfume of love distinct, radiates the divine light, unceasingly through day & night.

Inner and outer
Attain equilibrium
The void magnetised

Regrets
Regrets

Antagonisms perceived
Leave us aggrieved
Hearts broken
Tender spirits token

Words miss-read
Actions miss-lead
Clamors in the night
Pleading miss-sight

Sides taken
Lines shaken
Blindness bodes
Heavier loads

Rashness steps
Action’s regrets
Unthinking eyes
When misery cries

Matters adrift
Sieve and sift
Love enduring
Pardons ensuing

Antagonisms perceived
Leave us aggrieved
Hearts broken
Tender spirits token...

I wrote it all down
draped it over a page to view
but it wasn't sturdy
more swamp like
for fear of being dragged in
I retreated
this is why my mind echoes
has haunting disconnected words
because I empty/fill rooms, close doors
try not to go inside again
but I'm aware of what I lock away
surely there's no swamp in a locked room
but that's how it feels to me
that's all I can say on the matter
for I'm forgetting all I can...

Burning
A pile of leaves
 Lays peaceful quiet
Till one day
 It burst into flames
Some where inside
 Unseen unknown
A heat burned
 Fire to come
One day
 Without reason
Some times where is
 In people hidden
A fire burning
 Banked and controlled
Not fully
 Ever out
Till one day
 Without warning
Unseen reasons
 It explodes in flame
Uncontrolled and foolish
 Lashing out in pain
Causing pain and hurt
 Unthinking without reason...

City Dwellers
Towering concrete monoliths
Loom above seemingly mindless
Lemmings rushing, bumping, pushing
Their way in endless, moving lines
Of backward and forward motion;
Each with programmed destinations
Instilled by subtle brainwashing
By the few who reside above
In luxurious penthouse suites.
Below one of the unthinking
Queue falls dead on the cold pavement
Only to be trampled underfoot
Unattended amidst raucous
Noise of taxi horns and Sirens....

Easy Heart
And this is why
I have decided
To leave
It there

Incongruity meets ignorance
Your charms fall short
Your words scar
Unobtrusively

Insistently
You choose to see
Through the lens
Of yourself, and
Nowhere close to me

You choose to be
Fooled
By exactly what I am—
To the unthinking,
Merely
Another

Uncertainty meets unrest
Your heart beats much too
Near yourself
Comfortably,
Conveniently

And this is why
I have decided
To leave
It there...

Armament
The armament

Awakening into the harsh light
of blinding loyalty.
Jubilation and flags.
Soldiers synchronized
Stirring talks, hateful lies told
La vie en la rose
someone sings to stall time
The unthinking holler
Daring, the long night
The thinkers know the score
The smart knows too
but join, bet on the winner
Among the ruins, the unthinking walk
The scholars write books
the smart knows when the smell
of cordite is gone, the world needs
more weapons...

Premium Member Good Advice for Ne'er-Do-Well Naysayers
To suffer the insults of fools is a worthless thing.
     Dismiss, and disregard, unthinking, tactless fellows;
who've nothing else to do, like court jesters of a king,
than peevishly chide, rail (roaring protests and bellows).

'Tis better to grant honors, praises, marked in fame.
Or, when laurels are scarce, offer instead your support:
sweet words incline the ears, indictments just inflame
(for only ne'er-do-wells blitz you as a last resort).

Premium Member In the Groove
Listen to poem:
Into the groove of unthinking action,
file after file of manikins pack in --
beings above see the circular groove
peopled with puppets, all on the move.
Deeper yet they wear the groove down;
manikins' footfalls forever resound.
Of "outside", they now all think no more,
their eyes forever fixed on the floor.
Mechanical movement is all they can know;
movement defines all the life that they show.
The speeds of the dummies vary a bit
as they wear down the floor of the pit....
