Her Beautiful Voice

My voice it speaks weakly but my heart is strong
Her voice is tender platinum pure shy and abandoned
She sings like an angel

She has that strong quality of something that cannot be taught
that is unsophisticated and girlishly innocent
free pure and clean

Song of the Auverne

My voice it speaks weakly but my heart is strong
Her voice is tender platinum pure shy and abandoned
you either have it or you don't

She has that strong quality of something that cannot be taught
that is unsophisticated and girlishly innocent
Free pure and clean

Unmanly

Unmanly; unsightly; unskilled
Unsociable; unsophisticated
Jerk; unruly
And hurt and bruised
Unmanly; unsound
But, unselfish in unseasonable weather
Of warmth, sky clear
Unmistakably; unlikely
Too be unusually calm
In a untouchable manor
And then-unmanly; unruly; jerk.

The Party Pooper

A party of toffs all so snotty

was crashed by a yokel so naughty.

After passing much gas,

this guy with no class

took a dump left unflushed in the potty.

(for those who may not know: Toff is a person of high-class society

a Yokel is an uneducated, unsophisticated person from the countryside.)

Guiding Words

When all my days have faded
Into someone else's memory,
Will they recall I loved the Lord,
And tried his messnger to be?

Conflicting messages assail
Their unsophisticated ears.
I search for words that will assure
You are still here, to sooth their fears.

Please give me the wise words, I pray
That will survive beyond my day
And guide them safely on their way.

Thankful Anyway

everything I wish would subside
somehow continues to linger
trying to take it all in stride
to push through and endure
      self-doubt is always ample
      regret is unsophisticated
      my fears are never subtle
      although they are antiquated
at nightfall my thoughts are somber
why is contentment so elusive?
but in the sweet morning hour
my thankfulness is conclusive

Death

I held the dark night as my companion
Close to my chest
My jaw clenched
When they let me go
I just had my skin and my bones
To call home
Slowly it would decay,
with death
It was unsophisticated
To scream from my grave
I lay still
For stillness to take my soul away
For darkness to consume my breath
I prayed to vanish in thin air
But it was still
Every little thing
Waiting for me to sleep.

Vintage Heart

These modern day girls,
they don't fall in love
like they did in the black and white movies,
no more Audrey Hepburns' sipping on chardonnays
and pursing gold flake cigarettes
over a bowl of delicate conversation

they're unsophisticated,
they puff on cigars
and gulp down jello shots
while attempting a balletic demeanor
as poetic as Grace Kelly

but their actual depiction
is gauche
and lacking the ability
to fool any heart,
especially Cary Grant's

Idiosyncratic Arcadian

I’d prefer to live in a bygone era of
unsophisticated innocence

I’d prefer to live in a bygone era
where there was no ideology of ideal idleness

I’d prefer to live in a bygone era
where there was no sense of conscience,
no ken of moral nous and no subtlety of civilization

I’d prefer to live in a bygone era
where there was just absolute tenet
of tenacity as probity
in every inch of milieu’s existentiality
as of Mother Nature’s intrinsic innateness.

Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein
Born - March 14,1879
Died - April 17,1955

Einstein died of an aortic aneurism at the age of 76 and the pathologist removed his brain to study it and find out what made him so intelligent.
His peers said he was a man of child like quality that made him totally unsophisticated and without worldliness.

Albert Einstein
His teachers thought his abilities limited,
But his genius went down in history,
And his brain, after death was exhibited.
