That was years ago
but I now mention it
for most of those unripe words

A hostile pestilence has worn out

hoping to be chosen,

If you like Plum Cake
Do beware
For unripe plums
Can cause despair
Be very careful
With the flour
Sift and sift but
Don’t take an hour

So do take care

Butter, this way

washed today
Time to mix in
Some luscious plums,
Careful now, wash

When troubles stripe

true love is like a perfect scene,
