Colors of Love

Love as we know is like a rainbow, the colors may show like a glittering snow. It is red when it's ripe, violet when it's blue, sour as orange when unripe, when afraid it's yellow. When troubles stripe the love that is ripe, indigo comes to light to show what is right. And even though like flawless; true love is like a perfect scene, love could be homeless without the shades of green. Former poem of the day

I like the color motif to convey the complexities of love. Love is a rainbow indeed - sometimes short lived like sky colors after a storm. Best wishes, Brian

Thanks. The best time for you to see the brightest color of love and if whose love has the brightest color is during your darkest hour. That time, love will show its true color

Thanks for sharing this, Kabayan. Welcome to Poetry Soup. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." The Lord's blessings be with you.

Thanks po madam. I actually did not put the last stanza in that poem. I look forward that my poems will see the light of dawn soon. I have at least a collection of 150 and pop-up poems that I make daily whenever time allows
