Un
Don’t you dare
   think
of
   leaving me with
the mess of you
to
unknow the heart of
you
to
unlearn the soul of
you
to
untie the strings of
us
to
attempt to defy
the laws of
nature...

It All End's
Walking into the flames
Diverged in heaven and hell
I fill my flesh burn and singe
The filling is unknow
Not hot yet cold
Simmer of both but
That filling ends as my body
Becomes its own crimation....

The Haunting
It comes in dreams now,
That which the past should have long ago ended.
The unknow Terror,
something bad will come at any moment.

My screamed words of terror
Wake my son.
I awaken on the edge of panic,
heartbeat irregular.
I tur n on the TV
and try to tune it out....

The Unreal
I have seen the unreal.
I have touched the unknown.
I have told the untold stories but there are still some I don't know.
I have touched the untouchable.
I have caught the uncachable.
I have walked in a dream.
I have done the impossible.
I have seen the unseen.
I am the Unknow....

Premium Member The Memory of Flowers
I bought flowers today
to forget about you.
So I can view the
spectacle they make
on my bedside table
and not think of you,
and how they will die:
having completed
their entire time on
earth never learning
what I cannot unknow--
the shade of your eyes;
the sound of your voice;
the weight of your feet,
walking away....

If Darkness Fears Then the Light Has Gone
i made that glint
that caught your eye
hooked finger pulling lid too far
feel that boney shiver
xylophone your spine
seconds sound so much louder
in the quiet time
Uneasy dark tries to accept decline
the unknow squeaks so appealing
no line between the fear and the scare
Can't avoid me
i'm pulling you from within
darkness scurries from me trying to reach the dim...

A Phone Call from 1919
David J Walker

It was her earliest photograph
A stolen image
A split seconds motion in
Captured time

And here, in this odd box
For so long it lay
Unseen

And yet a sworn testament
In a storm of its lonely reality undeniable
Where has been stored the beauty
In this thing

That stirs an unknow affection
In one thousand shades of grey...

Listen to poem:
Just Beyond The Gate
David J Walker

There is a road
	there is a cliff
there is certain rendezvous
just beyond where

There is life
	There is death
There is light lit
By excised breath

There is sleep
	Lying in wait
Just beyond a
Final dawn and unknow fate where

There is the low laughter
	Of a river
And pasture with green grass
Just beyond the gate...

What I Wish I Could Unknow
I wish to forget what led me to this beautiful promise within.

But every time I feel my wishes weave into my life.

I feel a fluttering of that horrible place.

And my sorrow tries to trail ahead.

I must learn to treasure those hopeless days.

That corrupted my instinct.

If I had to testify…

I would reenter a void.

Like the flood of shadows in the night....

Where Love Grows
Love blossoms and grows in my very heart
Where I feel alive and the gift is given in the part
I am loved as the woman I am
The one that will show you my most intimate plan
I will guide you to the place where happiness grows
To a world of the unknow
Breathing life from within me
Where beauty meets the eye and together it is clearly seen
Love unites us in a bitter sweet harmony....

Escape
There is nothing left in my past that I can escape.

There is nothing left in my future- no hope worth being saved.

Each word is like a failing game of chess.

And each sentence, my emotions are remiss.

At some point- my abilities plateaued.

Once I discover what I’m missing, I can never unknow.

Always understanding, yet always haunted.

For my lacking I will always be taunted....

The Curse I Live With
If someone tells me stuff I would rather not know about,
I can not unknow what it is about,
Others seem to have no trouble forgetting what it is about,
And denying any knowledge about,
With not even a passing thought about,
What to do about what they should not know about,
And would rather not know about.

That leaves people cursed like me looking to see if there is a whistle about,
That can be blown when nobody else is about....

Unknow Match
I know what it is like to love someone
That you’ve never met.
To love them so profoundly,
But can not picture you with them.
The only evidence
Is the whole in my chest.
I think it just might be the feeling.
Being surrounding by it,
Yet not knowing who created it.
I have only felt the smoke
Of our unborn fire
Waiting for your spark.
Having the flame travel
To create the fire;
To make me burn without the fog
Of never knowing who you are....

I want to unknow you,
I want to uncare
I want to unshow you
I want to unshare.

I want to unlove you,
I want to untry
I want to unforgive
I want to uncry.

I want to unhold you,
I want to undo this
I want to unremember
I want to undo that first kiss.
