Beatin'

chemical weapons
completely unjustified
we're droning on to
punish perpetrators
and war goes on
so even more can die
what more is there?

Abuse

Agony of oppressed abused women,

               Foeticide unjustified,

            Teach respect, enforce law !

The Last Straw

These last few years have put our world to test:
Pandemic threat, political unrest,
Divisive strife, we hoped, our past forgot
As lives that mattered were, in cold blood, shot...
But nothing impacted and shocked us more
Than unjustified and uncalled war.

I Love Men

I can attest to the cliché
Of losing faith in men
Testify for fallen lovelies
Broken hearted once again
‘Fore this day Id say that each
Was diff’rent from the last
Ignore mistakes unjustified
And mark them as the past
For reasons unknown to me
Their problems felt the same
And now I realize what it was
Same fella’, diff’rent name

Angry Eyes

What is the drive
That runs the inside
The one taking names
To feed angry eyes

And if the drive lied
To multiply pride
And you were aware
Would you even divide

Would you pull it aside
Or simply comply
Still feeling pleased
Though unjustified

I’m on the outside
And miss you and I
This drive, a barrier
To feed angry eyes

Humiliation

Physical torture is humiliation
Doing accident is humiliation
Unjustified scolding is humiliation
Giving drugs is humiliation
Injecting chemical is humiliation
Causing wound is humiliation
Jeopardizing health is humiliation
Threatening terrorizing is humiliation
Choking throat is humiliation
Ending life is humiliation...
Note. Running underworld is humiliation...

Mother-In-Law

Mother in law so full of hate
Objected to her son’s true mate
Though unjustified in her decision
Her hatred for her so blurred her vision
Everything the girl did or said
Repulsed her and she turned her head

Instead she missed a one true friend
Never to know what could of been

Let it be a lesson for some
Always get to know the wife of your son
Whereof you may have none

Pulled Me

We were there but absent,
The soul was in anger
The body in revenge.
I was confused
Should I be happy or be sad
I learnt the new color of life
But was too nasty for the moments.
I was thinking to break the chain
It didn't let me to do so,
something tied me to it.
By now I understood that
It was justified and unjustified too.
It was like a lame
Which gave a unforgettable pain.

A Dream, a Hope, a Glory Within All of Us

What is it when we hold ourselves back?
What is it when we recoil from the line?

What is it deep within us that makes us feel unjustified?
Why do we hesitate when it counts?
Why do we fall when we know we can fly?

The doubt eats away the confidence
The fear of out-stepping our place in time

Why do we walk when we can run?
Why do we turn our truth into lies?

A dream, a hope, a glory within all of us

Don't ever let them die.

Fetch In the Muck

Through the thick of the fog
I begged to the bog
stumped by a stymied log.
It was hollow of pride,
like a zookeeper’s dog,
reduced to bark-less hide.
From the splat of my thud
It wore polka-spot mud
and rolled just because
It knew what It was
to snap unjustified.
So what could I do
but prove what It knew
with another attack
on the cripple I threw?
If cracking my back
playing fetch in the muck
was the point of It all - I’m stuck.

Destructively Kind

For as long as I can remember, I have felt misplaced
Yearning for acceptance, but also no desire to be embraced

My biggest wish is to give all of me
To empty my heart for all to see
To feel pain and agony

I carry my heart on my sleeve
Exposed, even to those who deceive

Why do I feel so intensely?
Why do I crave misery immensely?

I know I bring happiness to some
I fear my good deeds will come undone

Never satisfied,
Always unjustified.

To Victor Carmel Buhagiar

You have left PoetrySoup my friend and poorer the site remains

And now your friends-orphans- in tears and their hearts in pains*

* Victor, a man of God, of integrity, of goodness and an inspired poet,
has decided , for reasons unknown to me, to leave PoetrySoup. I wonder
why PoetrySoup doesn't do more to protect its members from unjustified
attacks by people who care only to win, no matter what the cost?

Within

Within the deep dark
Feels does of dozens
Riches made within
Poverty eradicated at once
Living thousands of days within a day
World at thee dispense
Justice done to those of unjustified act
Death to despise ones
Tears of cries occur nor

God as a grantor
Grant non of this
Set misery away
In bound to boat
To sail and race
In an ocean of uncertain possibilities
Feeding from thou catch
Fear calls by pirate
Bound breaks in a capsized boat
When ends comes to that journey

Don'T Judge a Book By It's Cover

When you look at my skin tone
Don't categorize me
When you see what i wear
Don't dare label me
You don't know me
You just see my outside
I may be the sweetest person alive
Your assumptions are therefore unjustified
I may be the best friend you'll ever have
I may be that dream love if you chance
Instead of judging me by my looks
Misjudging me from first glance
Don't judge me by what you read
Or by what you see on television
Take time to get to know me
And form your own first hand decision

Unjustified Love

I thought she was the one for me.
She showed me loved then played with my dreams.
My heart just knew she was the one.
Then she became evil like a loaded gun.
She got what she wanted down my pants.
Then never retuned my calls or even when I called her back.

What a woman for me to kill my emotions of being.

Needing a cure for the pain that was endured.

                                                                                                  jackreed3poetrys..

Longing

Nature is giving its all; night is filled with stars and moon.
The major missing piece of the puzzle is certainly you.
Flowers are competing, blooming, and appearing bright.
Yet, to know beauty is unjustified if you are not beside.
Spring is approaching and trying to appear darling;
It would be just another season hadn't you been so charming.
The moon is trying to prove its worth by appearing so bright,
Too naive to know brightness will intensify if my love has sight.
