Beans amaze for giving
As do marigolds, maize, corn
One seed uncoils worlds

How to think multiverse
Humans are - feelings fool us:
Seeds: one & many, past & future
jostling in the garden
bees and wasps compete
for the flower's favours
perched on a petal
butterfly uncoils its tube
then injects the flower
a gust of wind
the dried leaf leaps up
and dances in the air
TOOT SUITE
Alas, as hunters treed their prey
envisioning the feast
gravied meal at end of day
sopped up in breaded yeast.
An ill wind blew
and no one knew
from where it emanated
As sugar in the innards boils
and then - a little toot uncoils
Below the Surface, something Boils
Something Seethes and something Churns
Something Wakes; it Stirs - Uncoils!
Something Aches and something Burns
Something festers, something stings
For relief my Psyche screams!
Waves of Calm and soothing Song,
Alas! Are things of Dreams...
A black cloud dangles
Effortlessly forms
A haunting image
Showers travel east
Daisy hides her face.
A Robin sings
A melody
The sun appears
Once more she smiles.
Grass uncoils
Raindrops dry
Web retracts.
Sunset
Moon beam.
Stars.

Fear slithers in.
The snake in my belly
uncoils.
Wrestling restlessness
gives way
to unnerving unease.
I watch and wait.
The snake silences its strike
for now.
I begin to pace.
Anguished anxiety anticipates
as yearning’s yellow yarn
wraps me in the afghan of fear
and the future bites me again.
Into the jungle the ebony puma leaps with joy
lion and tiger eyes inequitable to this boy
illustrious cobra uncoils from a near caca tree
kangaroo court in session in a high degree
enthusiastic mushrooms open on demand
young ferns close up shop in this verdant land
onward and upward chimp says to her cub
understanding jungle survival is a very small club
On the cusp of the crescent moon
I'll wait for you
dauntless
I'll incase the falling star
flaring out behind your head
filligree the lacy work of fire
sequins sizzle
snip snap
strum the whiskey from your
fingers
who so ever turns the hourglass
uncoils the skein
smothers the fire
smoldering embers
ignite no more
I am now just
a smudge on your cheek
Listen to poem:
Birds herald Spring's awakening
with alarm clock
din rung.
Scents from flower buds leak
gossamer trails
into the air.
The sky at dawn has a brighter, redder blush
as life uncoils
out of hibernation's suspension
in surge of energy,
unwound discharged,
by unrelenting, unstoppable
hint of Spring in air.
Spring revealed, burst,
is sprung, done.
The war game begins.
You hide the sex behind
the hedge. The power
has gone for sale. Bury
your face in colloquies
for an internal search.
A native pain invades the
mannequins. The fine dust
of lies covers the nudity.
Do you need a war stimulant
to dehumanize the killer ? He
dragged the kid by hair and
shot point-blank. The saliva
uncoils. You start spitting
everywhere and on the face of god.

Dawn crosses itself through my latenight dreams
The bruised fingers of the skies, me awakening.
Where light was spotted before the start
This gray uncoils from my fist, squeezed with my heart.
Now the breakdown of once shut eyes strain
Dawn is called true daybreak —
With another outward far off shine
She's only ghost according to clockwork time
Morning on glass through ever bonding cobwebs
The dark in its light, still descends.
Turtle cruises the reef,
turquoise warm in the sun;
tendrils of coral stretch to
sup filtered light.
Butterflyfish and Tang
intermingle amid coral polyps,
that are plentiful appetizers
for this party.
As sponges get their rays,
a seahorse uncoils and jettisons itself
just overhead of a yawning mussel.
I giggle to myself as an angelfish kisses
my goggles and swim beneath the belly of turtle;
awed at the Crayola chroma essence
that delights my spirit.
