Less Said
The whimpering wind outlasts the storm.
Embers smolder beyond the flame.
What's withheld, unsaid, hones the ear,
Patience in pondering deepens meaning.
Until the tongue-tied uncoils its pearls.
Silence is the elephant in the room.
