Direct line to God....

Say It Like It Is
Slipping into splendour of bliss
Uncluttered mind, free of duress
Fontanel brightens, joy heightens
Held in divine entwined caress
Load upon vibrant heart lightens

Nirvana
without thoughts "I" ends
maintained for long
Nirvana
Start shedding
Start floating
When you shed it all
You levitate in bliss
More uncluttered mind is
Lighter you feel
Soon you become non-existent
You fly away...

A Blank Page
A poem unwritten
Uncluttered; a baby's mind
Unkissed innocence

Crystal droplets hang
Mirror reflects wall
Uncluttered ceiling
Corners catch my eye
Curtains are both drawn
Leg upon leg
Teeth pressing tongue
Chest rise, chest fall
Eyelid flicker
Breathing slows
Distant hums
Elsewhere train

Rhyme's Season
... stiff rhymes don't impose,
use, describing toad or rose,
crisp, uncluttered prose ...
... with clipped cadences,
a thought sparkles and dances,
mind's dalliances ...
... rhyme, as reason's gown,
doesn't dumb or drab thoughts down,
a gem in the crown ......

Day One
Such a lot of things I'd do,
The books I'd read
The shows I'd see!
I'd sip long galleries
Of half-forgotten pleasures.
He went to school, the youngest,
Not big enough to tie his shoes,
School case in his chubby grip,
Smiling, eager, new...I sit and
Silence creeps about uncluttered rooms....

God Alone Is
Distilled attention, unfettered
Vibrant presence, mind uncluttered
Awareness self-aware, that is
Deepening stillness, undeterred
God alone is, now we know this
Form in fullness, feels the bliss fizz
Recognising we’re God-essence
Born by breath divine, all is His

Prairie Autumn
In the flames of autumn
Across uncluttered fields
Warm beauty greets and enchants
Fields in array of quilted tapestry
Make a picture of pure perfection.
Walking with the hands of time
A brilliant kaleidoscope of colors
Create a floating magical beauty
As warmth radiates upon the face
Lightness swells and entwines the soul.

Spiritual Gift
Love
Come; sit for a bit
on sunlit verdant coverlet
with uncluttered mind
Welcome sweet Wisdom,
and let the Word
sow blossoms of Love.
Gardener’s incessant
sun-shower
nourish the fruit
of the kingdom
as roots bore deep
Leaves greet the heavens
enduring special grace
inviting my soul
reflecting its rainbow

Lamp of Hope
When the surroundings are dark
carry the torch of hope with you
It may not change your destiny
but brightens up the pathway
by bestowing positivism
Moment we are hopeful,
we smile and feel inner strength
Same journey no longer tires
Mind becomes weightless
An uncluttered mind thinks better
Many bright avenues open up
Our problems cease...

Clutter
Clutter
We like to remove what seems
Blocking our view..clutter..
Moving one thing aside so
To better see another..
We exercise this preference
And reinforce our belief
In life's separations..
Bringing ancient suffering..
Until a dawning recognition:
Suffering is a hint from
Grace..a gentle prompt:
See that your Seeing
Is always uncluttered......

Waking At Peace
Good morning sunshine
Caress my sleepy head
I hear the birds sing
There is a chill in the air
Love is good
I feel well
Ease has sprouted
Among my joints today
Carry me away to gentle waves
Healing sunshine
Healthy food
Clean, uncluttered home
I love waking up next to you, like you love waking up next to me!!
For Carol Brown--My state of happiness, sure bliss!!...

My Wishes Few
As time goes by
Days best uncluttered
The good life
Coasts uncomplicated
My wishes are few
And quite simple
I crave peace and
Happy settings
Moments of seclusion
Where I can be creative
Amuse my inner child
Dance drenched in sunshine
And taste serenity

Birdsong
Birdsong
Skies of the brightest blue
Uncluttered by pollutions
Birds circle overhead
Looking for a place to roost
Males with their bright colors
Looking for a mate for the spring
Chirping into the cool valley air
Songs of greetings and invitations
They echo off the trees and mountains
Combining into a symphony
Males and females meet
They sing and dance into the early evening
Joining together in an ancient ritual
And life begins again...

Hit By Illness
Illness, like a stealthy thief,
snuck up on me, knocked me flat,
and ransacked my interior,
Taking things I didn’t know
were missing until I
got back up again.
Gone was the mask
of illusion that shielded
me from my mortality.
Bare were the walls
that kept sorrow
hidden for years.
Robbed of certainty
and confidence in
my own capabilities,
I stood vulnerable
in the uncluttered space
of my life -
and found poetry....

Calm Bomb
We thought the morning would be calm ~
Till daughter deployed the grandkid bomb.
The youngest makes a Wookiee noise,
And other sounds enjoyed by boys.
Greta's playing the matching game;
The floor: uncluttered before she came.
The oldest bikes through the garage;
Both it and he will soon need triage.
One's running, screaming, wants her "wadi",
And spending time on the potty.
But, midst the chaos and the mess,
I must admit that I'm pretty blessed....

Poem
Once, I was a poem---
A memory of a rose, ever-watchful
Of the orb, whilst angel’s trumpet fills the air.
Oh, sometimes then, I was a sweet poem---
The art of your heart;
‘Twas pure and simple, ‘cause that’s what I am.
The poem and I---fourteen lines
Of uncluttered life, warming the coldness of nights;
Relentlessly, rhyming to the sound of your breath.
A sonnet of love, you proudly wrote
Of me, but that was before…
You lustily engaged yourself, with a free-verse....

Lyric
By the Tranquil Shores
A quiet breeze,
Stillness in the air,
No voices filtering into my mind,
No sound putting my mind into a tumultuous stir,
I flow with the rhythm of nature's music,
My thoughts glide in the unperturbed flow,
Somewhere by the sea,
The fog is dispersed,
Somewhere by the sea,
I walk on an uncluttered path,
Somewhere by the sea,
I’d spend my last days,
At day’s end,
I'll soar on unbridled wings.
