Uncertainty is humanity,
That which alters not the thoughts,
Yet gives it a try and confidence should be a better fate!
day by the water
soaking up rays
reflections
calming
blue dreamy skies
ready to face the uncertainty
of the unknown
in foggy fishy breezeless weather
confused stars with doubt and uncertainty blink
pain within, the moon wanes
wordku
pitch black night like thoughts
tormented with uncertainty
until stars give hope

Fear unbraced,
Not in the pit of my stomach
But the cheeks of my face
Uncertainty quite abated
Superfluous words make me somnambulated.
Knock softly
Even angels whisper
Peace is radiant when
We love
Tomorrow the uncertainty
Tomorrow the gift
Tomorrow the forevermore
Today
Afraid of what
The future might bring
How odd the feeling
Uncertainty brings
Unfamiliar thoughts
Race to & fro
Till they stop
How can I know?

Impossible to catch my breath

In a world of growing uncertainty,
whenever there's a great emergency,
Doctors Without Borders
alleviates disorders
with profound humaneness and urgency.
Life is a dirty postcard,
I'm the one
with the permanent tan.
She wears the crown of filth
and beauty, and I
lose myself
in the uncertainty
of her gaze.

Heat is soaring
Bushfires are burning
Floods are raging
Covid is concerning
Sharks are attacking
Human controversy
Self inflicted deaths
Country uncertainty
On a battlefield lined
with the blood of dead letters
I slay the monsters of uncertainty
—and their legacy of fear

The Gloaming
In the gloaming,
Light fades and shapes lose their edge,
Uncertainty creeps in.
In the gloaming,
Leaves whisper and owls cry,
What can’t I hear.
Dense clouds of uncertainty hoover
Causing a fog of perplexity
Ending will lead to takeover
For trying to resolve complexity

A flame in my gut,
That is filling me whole.
My thoughts are a hurricane,
Out of control.
With eyes wide open,
I tear the dark veil.
I have decided
I will not fail.
The uncertainty of life is deeply rooted in my mind. I am transfixed with the notion of death.
It stalks like a cleaver assassin, waiting patiently hidden beneath a quiet mind.
Form:
Alone during my childhood years
Alone I stand as an adult
Fighting off tears and all my fears
Amidst the uncertainty and profound confusion
Of my younger years
I stand alone
Often afraid
Thoughts of the end drawing near
It’s total uncertainty
Permeates with fear
Inevitable for all
The complete unknown
Abandoning loved ones
To depart alone ….
When this pandemic ends,
I want to be ready to die
in peace...
You can't live like this, with
the uncertainty of our death...
we must be sure
about our life and our death... !
Crawling slowly into the notion,
Undeterred by obstacles before me,
Pressing onward with determined uncertainty,
Seeking guidance where none appears,
Pressing on shedding fears.
Whatever happens, happens
I leave it all up to God
I'm riding this life shotgun
Fate is at the wheel

Walking among our clouds of doubt
Our fate is sealed
with innocent ambiguity
Our steps are laden
with blind uncertainty
Our yearnings, like cliffs
fall away to guiltless verity
Still think of my dear first wife Linda
Succumbed to breast cancer, she was an enigma
Did she love me
'Twas an uncertainty
Ending mama's domination, No.1 on her agenda
