Uncaptured sympathies
From the lost departed
No turning back
All plans are thwarted
Revelations and tears
Washed away with the rain
Forgotten tragedies
Unspoken in vain
Here I am a castaway
On a passengerless ship
Thanks for the freedom
No longer your whip...

L o v e Love does pulse I see it everyday Like the breeze It lingers Fluttering uncaptured Hoping it will find me Come Hither my delicate rose Come spend some time with me We'll frolic of fancied dream And spend eternity Running free Love is a winding river of song Playing a private show Just for you and me It climbs the hill tops high And rests in the calm sea

Stars
A poem lovely as a star
will not be found, not near or far;

though I may read earth’s brilliant lines,
search out our galaxy’s confines,

there are not words that can express
a star’s incredible excess

of beauty where she twinkles bright
upon the breast of velvet night.

We must forever be content
just viewing the celestial tent

with the myriad lovely stars
uncaptured by such words as ours.

Mission Exit

In the far lane
out of the marine fog,
Near Mission Road Exit-
the 5 South-
a 1965 Ford Ranchero,
vein blue
and sea bleached bone white.
The grim faced driver,
hands at ten and two,
her plum head wrap and
fingers tight as roots,
her face twisted furrows.
I will never know her.
She will hold all she knows
sacred, broken-
as real as a sharpened knife-
and disappear uncaptured
even by these words.

Voices

One day we'll pass
In the street
I'll never know you
It's weird but neat

Like birds
With words
In trees
We may compete

Your tune
It loops
My faceless
Friend

A butterfly
Uncaptured
As safely
You descend

A marvellous
Creation you.
So beautiful
Without the view

I know enough
To let you fly
So delicate
You flutter by

So Juliet
You may not be
I thank you though
For knowing me

Only Human
Are world is full of ordious pain, fretting and fury, angst and bite,
Our world is destroyed by a virus's hate a twisted venture of uncaptured domain,
For the free run nieve and the captured expell hope,
A blood drained society of hardship and plight,
plundered by the weak destroying full might,
we can stand and face these horrors still,
Bellow with feelings of change we will,
But still we'll sit with head in hands,
and watch the suicide of our mother land....
