A Writer of Flowery Verse
A writer of flowery verse
Thought Shakespeare was much too terse.
Feeling that Twelfth Night
Could use a rewrite,
He made it a whole lot worse....

Angel of Death - Contest
The lighting, it was over-bright,
When Death's Angel came to our door.
Drifting, like a kite without sight,
The lighting, it was over-bright.
A most terrifying twelfth night;
Breaking, like the waves to the shore.
The lighting, it was over-bright
When Death's Angel came to our door....

Message In a Bottle-Rite-Cecil
Since you found my words, my seal was tight.
Please read, do not have any fright.
These words, be my last, tonight.
To my wife, heavens lights,
I have taken flight.
No longer fight,
Our twelfth night,
Ignites

Angel of Death 1
The lighting, it was over-bright
When the Angel of Death took each to his door.
Deadening our senses and enrapturing our sight,
The lighting, it was over-bright.
As we approached death's door on this terrifying twelfth night;
Lives flashing before us like waves to the shore.
The lighting, it was over-bright
When the Angel of Death took each to his door....

Sebastian Is Alive
Antonio saved me from the ship that sank.
For bringing me ashore, I have him to thank.
I am in a new land, and I am alive.
However, I believe my twin sister did not survive.
I must seek refuge in this strange territory.
Antonio says he cannot go with me.
He claims the Duke named Orsino is an adversary.
So Antonio wishes me luck and gives me his money.

Antonio Thinks Cesario Is Sebastian
The law authorities apprehended a man named Antonio.
I have never met him before as he is someone I don't know.
He contends that a while ago, he gave me some money.
Now he wants it back to pay for bail that would set him free.
Antonio kept calling me "Sebastian"; this seemed like an oddity.
This action suddenly got my mind to be thinking.
Is it possible my brother survived the ship sinking?
Based on the play "Twelfth Night" by William Shakespeare....

The Delacorte
For years we’ve gone to see the shows
Of Shakespeare in the Park,
Where magic happens in Manhattan
When the sky turns dark.
The theater where the plays are held
Is called the Delacorte,
Reopening this summer,
I am happy to report.
A renovation closed it down
But now it’s back for good
And boasts a new façade that’s made
From water tower wood.
“Twelfth Night” will start the season
With a most impressive cast,
An experience for those who go
That will be unsurpassed.

Malvolio
I wonder what has happened to our Malvolio.
It looks like this man has gone completely loco.
He's dancing around in double-gartered stockings colored yellow.
This is in contrast to the character we all know.
Malvolio read a love letter purportedly written by me.
Everything said there is total mendacity.
Apparently, he will not cease with his pretenses.
Lock him up in the cellar until he comes to his senses.
Based on the play "Twelfth Night" by William Shakespeare
