Sebastian Is Alive

Antonio saved me from the ship that sank. For bringing me ashore, I have him to thank. I am in a new land, and I am alive. However, I believe my twin sister did not survive. I must seek refuge in this strange territory. Antonio says he cannot go with me. He claims the Duke named Orsino is an adversary. So Antonio wishes me luck and gives me his money. Based on the play "Twelfth Night" by William Shakespeare

I see that Shakespeare likes the names Antonio, whose name is in The Merchant from Venace, and Caesar (Mark Antony) Interesting. Thanks again for the education, Robert! ~ gw

By the way, the title of that poem is "Antonio", and it was submitted March 14.

Gershon, thank you for reviewing my Shakespeare-based poems, and I'm glad you like them. As for Antonio, I submitted a poem about "The Merchant of Venice" a little earlier. You and everyone else apparently missed that one.
