There was a chap hated for his twaddle.
It got so thick one could in it waddle.
Folks shut their ears
Shed no tears
And sent him into space full throttle.
Galoot, galoof, galore
Open the magic door
Tell me what you know, laddy
Piffle, twaddle, dee
Take a good look at me
Crambazzle, and hobbledehoy
We made a magic boy
Oh twiddle twaddle
Said the duck with a waddle
I fell off the rock
With a bump...
On my head
Where a feather once laid
I now have a very big lump
Sing to hey diddle diddle
'Tis noted that some media at times express divisive and jaundiced views!
Hence, such inane twaddle has reputedly become known as fake gnus!
(Written with considerable tongue in cheek and with profuse apologies
to the innocent African antelope known as a gnu!)
Flat Earthers
I’ve heard some rubbish in my time,
But this one beats the lot,
Some people believe the Earth is flat,
How crazy, what twaddle and rot.
If only they’d researched history books,
Look up to the stars and swear,
It’s obvious to all who study these things,
The Earth isn’t flat, it’s square.
Weakness lies in the heart of gold,
a heart of gold can still be broken.
O man of empathy, so naive,
who gives until all has been taken.
Hearts of gold are unsustainable,
their foundations appear strong and true,
but life, stalking, like a lion,
hiding in the tall grass, unexpected as always,
He rips, and tears, far beyond repair!
Oh, what a fib! Such claptrap, and twaddle!
Do you still claim your heart to be
made out of some precious metal?
Heard some twaddle ten days ago? some TWOTS with microphones giving it a go.'
Got some SCAZNA waddling in the hills.' 'Johns' Questioning the locals..By order of the shills.' I think there are snipers ? I wonder
Are there some, who gunned down our Koalas; 800 was it the sum.? Geez what a heap of trouble from twenty twenty on.'
Where has my 'easy going homeland gone?' Hey why not give the hunters shovels and picks? so they can dig the final grave
For vic-pol.. Away up there in the sticks.'
