Some say the first lady's a looker
Trumped up by funds that bank book her
Just there for effect
She is a sex object
In retrospect she's a hooker...

Trump
His name was trumped,
thrown into a blender of ridicule,
and mixed up into a hilarious
combination.
Now,
the world,
glued to the T.V.,
was shocked to see him triumph
with Millennial wonder!...

Trump Subpoena With Addenda
Trump Subpoena With Addenda

Trumped drowned people from a marina,
And then later he was issued a subpoena;
To our surprise,
It included lies;
Attached to it had been a lot of addenda.

Venemous and Ludicrous
Continuous,

Venomous,

E. Pluribus,

Ludicrous.

They proved that Trumped is very venomous
Our poor country as well as Unum e. pluribus,
And oh no;
Again we go;
As usual he is talking and looking ludicrous.

Jim Horn

Here is how I accepted the challenge....

Permanence
Sirene of life
We embrace the cry
Thus adieu with tears

Every newborn must cry
Every newborn must die
Every new time must fade

From the strings of minor
To the trumped of major
We adieu with tears

Sirene of death
Sings and slices fear
Thus divorce thy life...

Trumped
He thought he was king of the pack
And told all his team he'd be back.
But what a kerfuffle
When after the shuffle
He found he'd no ace but a Jack!

Love You From Afar
We often forget those who remain
Focused on those whom we love
blinded by trumped-up stories of love
Intoxicated and bewitched
but thumb their noses toward us
And don’t appreciate everything we give

So cherish those people
who remained in your darkest
watched you in silence
Loved you from afar...

Is it just me?

I assumed that Trump tweeting Obamagate
was solely to distract us,
and maybe Congress,
from the press feeding on Russiagate.

But,
by not making that assumption,
as just more Business As Unusual distraction,
the press appears to have been Trumped again.

I don't know...
Is it just me?...

The Road It Forks
In the breaking light of dawn,
in a photograph - we kiss.
It's to your inner light I'm drawn,
while cursing fate, and chances missed...
Wrapped in thought, and solitude,
sweet lies trumped by bitter truth.
The road it forks,and one way taken,
now questions over dreams foresaken...
A puzzling gauntlet of how, when and why?
You were my favorite hello,
and my hardest goodbye...

Shook Up When His Hands Had Shook
Shook Up When His Hands Had Shock

At Trump's two small hands, we did look;
Were shook up when his hands we shook;
Breath did take;
Mistake make;
Down drain had found us flushing his book.

Only someone with long loose tool,
Would go to a  trumped up school;
Head banged,
Then hanged;
Used thin thread dangling from spool.

His head was so light that he could be
hung with thin thread.

This Golden Prize
(For Doris Culverhouse)

a-hunting a man was gone
in the thick of a forest sweet
away trumped he like a horn
& a deer chased till the night;

up & down till near a rock
o, the weapons fell from his hands
while asleep upon the rock
what a golden snort of the nose;

then the queen of the forest came
what a bridal match she brought
o, the dream of raw blood to tame
& what a prize she’ld win at last!...

More of this, more of that
    Fifty dogs, a hundred cats
  Never satisfied, never enough
    A card sharp, called million-dollar bluffs

  Porsches, Ferraris, Lamborghinis galore
    Never enough, needed far more
  Penthouse in Manhattan, two in L.A.
    Resorts in Palm Springs and Montego Bay

  Trumped the tallest towers
    Built a castle reached the sky
  Clouds laughed, then raced to form
    a simple question ~ W H Y?...

Footsteps
I couldn't tell
how this would end
telling my mind
it was all in the plan
yours not mine

I didn't know
I had a lesson to learn
following your lead
listening with my heart
which is now broken

I should have used my mind
trumped your moves
been less oblique
less follower, more leader
should have mastered this game

time will tell
if you won in the end
my heart will heal
but my footsteps will echo
small but deep in your soul...

Trumped
Who would have thought Teresa May
Would ever make a nation sway
A snap election she did call
No one thought she'd have the gaul

Denying that she ever would
Everyone knowing that she could
She often comes over as being strong
Perhaps she has this one wrong

Counting down till the eighth of June
Will the country see a blue moon
Anything can happen at the vote
Heading to the polls do take note

Look what happened America trumped
A surprising turn may see her thumped...
