Trumped

He thought he was king of the pack
And told all his team he'd be back.
But what a kerfuffle
When after the shuffle
He found he'd no ace but a Jack!

Yes, I created that story so my daughter could learn Native American thinking, and wrote it down so she could see the difference between Christian story-telling, where everything happens in threes, and Native American, where everything happens in fours (4 directions/elements et al). Thank you for your comments! Aloha! Rico

Always an original comment,Rico! I must ask you, were you the author of a story I've just read 'A mask for Halloween?' It was a thought provoking read!

We had very strict lock down no one could visit or leave the Island except with permission, we have had a few blips recently but yesterday we were again declared covid free. it is so odd that since June we can behave as normal yet just across the water in the Uk they have lockdown:-( hugs Jan xx

Well that's quite a compliment coming from the maestro! Thank you,Jan. Great to see photos in the paper of the Christmas light celebrations in the isle of Man. Presumably the island banned visitors in the first stages of the virus?

That's kind of you Arturo and lovely to hear from you again. You were one of the virst to 'visit' my early efforts.
