Looking to heaven
…trees of life thank God for fruits
…blessings shared freely
April 8, 2019
i have an ecosystem inside me
an entire forest
and you've somehow
scratched and carved your name
on every single tree
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
cold north wind blowing
bony trees waltz under stars
shadowy dancers
trees in reverie
interlude of frenzy gone
bare branches pray
stretching limbs for miracle
beauty irresistible
Rough rains
bounce off
the hardened
ground.
Beyond bare
trees-
empty
of leaves,
no bluebirds
can be found
TREES
i can’t say enough about trees i love
they are the sweet spot of life
copacetic or wild
They reach for the sky
Perfect blends of browns and greens
Blossoms of colors
so be quick
waiting to be pick
mabe no stinging bees
PEACAN
NUTS AND TREES
Only things to see
But many evergreen trees.
Puts my mind at ease
To see all nature just be,
Indeed what I want to see.
Don’t let the poetry
weaken the poem
The structure a servant
—for what’s to be known
(The New Room: December, 2021)
Rainstorm batters trees
broken branches-scattered leaves
kitten sleeps by kitchen stove.
High as a Georgia pine they say
I think that I shall never see
From little acorns a mighty oak grows
So goes my tree knowledge
mellifluous sounds
secrets for my ears only ~
soft whisper of trees
Kaleidoscope trees
transforming with October;
In the autumn Sun
the leaves are a moment captured
with every fleeting color.
Soft whispers
of green breeze in leaves,
incense blooms.
Summer heat
is everywhere that I turn.
Sun falls through the trees.
Birch wood trees,
Black and White
Green grass grows,
fresh
Flowers bloom,
but hide
Sun gleams yellow,
Thoughts take flight
Japanese Gardens
Blossoms radiate in bloom
Pink petals delight
A gurgling brook
Surrounded by large oak trees
Flowers everywhere
And a blanket for the ground
Best picnic place ever found!
was on a trapeze
did swung through all of the trees
while searching for keys
Turn this into a song for
Alisha Keyes to sing.
The trees dance in the wind as the leaves chatter up a storm
Whilst the branches rub lovingly against each other, moaning softly.
I was loosening the soil
On the roots
Around the trees
I was shock to hear
Saying
Thank you
Taking one voice
All the trees
so amazing twin
what about the twinning trees!?
not only twin trees
yet, eight hundreds years old age
they are in South Korea
Trees make wood
People this world
If no trees no people
If no people but trees
Trees called wood
Trees called world!
Lush backyard trees secured me
at the delicate age of five
and my country mind was so carefree
as my summer heart stirred alive.
aged oak branches out —
fledgling opens palm to clutch
the mentor’s handshake
