Bluebirds

Rough rains
bounce off

the hardened
ground.

Beyond bare
trees-

empty
of leaves,

no bluebirds
can be found

Blue birds are rare in New England. I haven't seen one or a pair since my boy days! Many thanks for reading my work. Best to you in your writing endeavors. / M
