Premium Member Trump Fails America
America thrown under the bus
So much for "America First"
It was more like Russia First
Trump fails America
He sides with Putin
On the world stage

Betrayal
Belligerent; demanding more
Egotistical persona; hard core
Treasonous painful open sores
Rectifying actions; what for
Arrogant unsympathetic rapport
Yesterday; same as before
Asinine unit of corps
Loyalty non-existent decor...

A Little Poem
You can be noble
or a thief
And Indian
or a chief
You can give
away your last dime
Or be accused of
a crime
We all have poetry
in our hearts
You don't need a bachelor's
in arts
There's a little good
in all of us
From the patriots
to the treasonous...

Rude About Holyrood
Some folks call Holyrood Castle a palace
but it's a real gloomy dump,
there's a right royal rogues gallery
and dank haunted dungeons,
The gift shop is run by Scottish mountain trolls
and the cobbled stone courtyard was hard on my knees.
I did find a distant ancestor of mine,
described by the tour guide
as a 'notable treasonous bugger',
so day not wasted day....

UNSUPPORTED CODE DONNYBROOK
Egregious Nonplus:
A hopeless cause.
Comfortless, lachrymose
A mutinous repause.
Recalcitrant – All love is now absent
From grinding flagitious jaws.
Treasonous laws!
Justice? Just because.
We are allies of chaos.
This lost cause
Is your failure
Your loss,
Not ours.
We are diamonds of the future.
Your antiquated assumptions,
Are just archaic flaws....

Elitist Objective
Impenetrable collectives of treasonous scum
Thirsting upon the blood
and powerless state
of innocent bystanders

Empowered by delusions of grandeur
and disinterested in notions of compassion
Forming an intricate web of exploitation
and unwarranted influence

Perusing the globe with a concealed firearm
and a volatile disposition disguised by a smile
Ultimately intent on strengthening the force
of an omnipotent grip...

Premium Member A Heroes Welcome - For John
Flim Flam
the hero man
sold his story
and away he ran
From Hanoi to DC
before swamps could be drained
karma would catch him
and rot out his brain
But the damage was done
in the Great Halls of power
as his bombs of war
the whole world did scour
So what is now left
when the hero has faded
same as it was
a nation all jaded
Clamoring to praise
what was clearly a fool
a spoiled near despot
the ultimate tool.

Constable
Constable

To pinpoint or to finger a Constable
Is treasonous and abominable
Dockets and summons may state:
‘Charged for subverting the State!’

Reorientation my men deserve
They know no longer who to serve.

They fast run with the swift hare
Sharing its calamities of the snare
Then hunt with the ravenous hound
Whose victims are death-bound.

Could he have trained to chase
And not to analyse the case?!

Premium Member Worthless Wishes
It’s no use wishing on the moon -
beware that nearly untouchable beauty.
She has a dark side and will desert you
when when the fickle twirling earth spins
night into morning.

It’s no good wishing on the stars:
those illusions are a million years gone.
Stars die like us. They own no magic
and will fade as the morning blossoms
upon the night.

Ancients wished on the treasonous sun,
that fabricator of warmth - not compassion.
Although it brings the new day, it can do little else...
