Mike learned it was hard work to think
in some cases it turned folk to drink.
At almost all times
he got by on crimes.
But ended up the client of a shrink.

I've slept with shadows,
and bathed in ink,
living half my life- blind,

But now the truth
is darker still,
and colour drains,
with each red pill.

A desert's rain
like a thoughtless brain
brings soothing pain
that's lavishly plain.
This sad clown
wears a peasant's crown
while sitting down
so that he won't drown.
We’re sorry we erased your tally board.
This careless, wee mistake shan’t be ignored
by me, the thoughtless teacher who effaced
this box of precious points, gone in swift haste.
Through the paths endured
For reasons of preseen thoughtless
Needs for authority of validation
For lifetimes lived avoid realization
Of personal sabotage through weakness and fear
in the compass
of wings

touch
