Takers take
Givers give
The latter do
Eternally live.

She must have descended from Quakers
When I asked,"Is there any takers?"
To inherit a yard
Slapped her tushy real hard
So she left me a couple achers
Raindrops that slumber
Air that kills
What is the deal...
Smog makers
Smog takers
All are breakers...
Leaves are thinking
The sky is shrinking
What are we creating?
givers and takers, in their zone
form habit patterns, they each own
the taker, going on grabbing
whilst the giver, trauma bonding
both deluded and thus forlorn

Bungling Bankers and Brutal Bakers
There are those who were muck rakers,
As well as liars, losers and breath takers;
Improperly invested,
And poorly digested;
Been bungling bankers and brutal bakers.

Brother for sale twenty five cents.
Sister is in the free box. Come get her.
She comes with toys and a red balloon.
Sadie has been singing this song for fifty years.
No takers yet.
But she is buying bigger boxes.
Two turncoats
Tip toeing
Taking turns
Telling tales
Twisting truth
Talking tall
Team trashing
Tweeting trolls
Trust takers
True traitors
The battle drones fire down at the village men,
They eat all the life from them, all of it, forgive
Me if I hate the life takers in their partial place.
No one man saw this killing of villagers before
There came a knock on the door.

...Some would long debate the whole raid,
say the arc was now truly lost,
others would say a museum piece
was never worth such a high cost.
I suppose those questions will rage,
on the net it gets rather loud,
but Alice pays no heed to it,
I hear she’s a minister now…
Pressure
Not a day goes by without it
It stresses the takers
But it relaxes the givers
Pressure is a sign of hypocrisy
We pressure people and laugh
But when we GET pressured
All hell breaks loose
All we want is a calm peaceful life
But pressure terrorizes me every day
Coyote
Night shift, unseen, predatory
creatures skulking in darkness
coats glistening in cold moonlight,
takers amid the searchers
awakening the stench of fear
within the city limits.

Friends are givers not takers.
They are menders not heartbreakers.
Lending a hand in times of need,
helping do a timeless deed.
Standing by with arms wide open,
by your side wishing and hoping.
Never once will they turn you away,
but by your side a friend will stay.

Risk Takers excite me
Jumping in without hesitation
Optimism oozing out of them
Self confident
Perpetually ready
Game for whatever
Diving off cliffs
Our out of airplanes
Without caution
Expecting the best
Anticipating the thrill of the win
And usually getting it
Empowering the indolent,
the fox is now inside
The vermin on the loose,
the truth now plagued by lies
The takers stalk the givers,
those on the dole now scream
“We want what you have worked for,
—the fruit without the tree”

Who loves America anymore?
Far too many takers.
Far too few givers.
LOVE, not selfish but selfless.
LOVE will not empty her of resources and leave.
LOVE feeds her with our dedication and loyalty.

Holy cow
The night sky
Is filled with shooting stars, wow
Splendid, my reply
Honorable display
Seeing white specks
Flying across the canvas, yay
There were no takers on the bets
Finally, as I must
I depart the darkest sky
Leaving a grand memory, just
I'll never forget, and I won't cry

I'm going to sea in a blueberry boat
paddling far past fakers and breakers
where I'm told there's happiness and hope
more givers and doers, not dreamers and takers.
I'll sing salty songs with sharks and gulls,
until they nibble away my blueberry hull
and gift this soul unto the deep blueness-
A craftsman's bowl in glass
resting on the table
Unsure if for dainties meant
or for short-stem flowers, its intent
Her sides reach outward, fingers
beckon beauty to enter there and stay
No takers found she, but her spirit unbowed
sunlight-kissed glass by small setbacks uncowed
Who...
what...
where....
Am I suppose to be here...now...
staring at a screen looking inwards...
wondering where I'm suppose to be.
Questioning my existence...
I know I'm here for something...WHAT???
WHY???
I wish I could put even a fingernail...
It just...
Hmmmm...still looking for confirmation
Any takers?
The animals on the
farm are having
their annual county
fair.
Frogs from the pond
have agreed to
set up a kissing booth,
so far no takers,
except other frogs,
but for 50 cents,
it's a good deal, all
the proceeds go to
homeless farmers,
so come on down,
kiss a frog, hey
it's for a good cause.

Those who kick the door to open
are rough-handed
Those who knock at the door to open
are disciplined takers
Those who wait at the door to open
are frequent losers
Those who sleep at the door to open
are nothing doers
Those who pray at the door to open
are idealist dreamers
Those who do not know where door is
are the lost
Evadin' and duckin' like the plague
Spinnin' and shootin' like an Olajuwon fade
My shot! I am shootin'
Ha, ha! Dream takers, I see you out lootin'
Suckas out too, a hatin'
Sucka free is me; no time a-wastin'
Blessin' up and centering
Dreamtakers are out fearmongering
Shinin' like a diamond, I am
Blockers and haters, I no longer tram
earth settles
baby settles down
we settle our estate
settlers were risk takers
taking few belongings
wives taken from comfort of parents’ homes
risk everything
risk nothing
risk a game in the sixties
everything granted
grant’s tomb visited
grant me a wish
wishing love toward our planet
wishing pandemic would settle down
earth settles
