Val 'N Tyne

At sweet sixteen she'd never been kissed
And then she met Miss Kuni Lynn Guist
A sweet Valentine
Would suit her just fine
And Mr. Wright would never be missed

What a Sweet Sixteen

What a Sweet Sixteen;
I sit alone.
I stand alone.
I walk alone.
I eat alone.
I sing alone.
I read alone.
I write alone.
I AM alone.
Happy Birthday to me...

Signature-

White shoulders
with hair pinned up.
A velvet dress,
shows just enough.
Sweet sixteen,
a first date gift,
of bottled perfume,
the fragrant mist.
Of White Shoulders.

The Days Have Sprouted Wings :

The days fly pass as fast,
as one has come, its has ended.
No need to wish to be sweet sixteen
When it seemed so far away yesterday.
Nightfall again.

Don'T Get Wild Little Girl

Sweet sixteen - Save
You're young yet
Wild,worried,waiting
Don't deny dumb daughter
Feel free forever
Never know nothing
Men's mourning manly
Finding for fresh flesh
Be brisk!Behave!

Blowing Out 16 Candles

Dear Mr. Sweet Sixteen,
Close my eyes and embrace your dream
Inferior to superior is forever my theme
Blowing out the candles, mind on the green
Eyes reopened, to see what my faith will bring

Love

I fell in love with poetry at seventeen
After it blossomed from a crush
A crush in sweet sixteen
When all I wanted was a rush
Cause I has a sweet tooth
And wanted all the sweetness to myself

Winter's cold here and gone, yet her warm heart always remembered.
On angel wings swiftly flown, gifted sixteen years gladly surrendered.

Always runner up, never seized the prize
often sweet sixteen, never final four
and if striving for bronze, finish fourth.
But days are now longer than night
and despite yesterday’s snow dump
spring is here with better days to come.

Becca, My Baby Girl

Becca, My Baby Girl

I watch you sleep.
I stroke your hair.
You are my baby girl.
Your sweet sixteen.
How I remember the minutes, the days, the years.
All your beautiful smiles, but also your many tears.
I wish you would let me in, it`s ok to need your Mom.
Because I will always need you.
My baby girl.

Sweet Sixteen

The age we call it age of teens
develops body beautiful and slim
something happens like a wandering cloud
friends are many roaming around
its an age takes silly decisions
mind want to ask infinite questions
no one can say where one go
time can find what to show
its a great play one see in genes
the age we call sweet sixteen

Daddy, Where Were You

Daddy, where were you?
When I turned six
Where were you
When I had my first kiss?

Daddy, where were you?
When I got my heart broken?
Where were you
When I got used?

Daddy where were you?
For my sweet sixteen
Where were you?
Or am I no use to be seen?

Daddy, where were you?
It’s as if I don’t know you
Daddy, where the hell are you?

Sweet Sixteen

its all okay,
its not so bad,
just take a breath,
for life be glad,

another boy,
will come along,
another heart,
will sing your song,

i know he's cute,
you sigh and cry,
but take a moment,
to wonder why,

could it be,
youre just sixteen,
your heart is still,
just between,

bursting out,
and growing strong,
though at sixteen,
you think,
im wrong.

Premium Member Have Ya Ever

Worked a jigsaw puzzle
While listenin' to Queen
And workin' out your algebra
While waitin' sweet sixteen?

Or scurried off to India
Just 'cause the op arose?
Or painted toenails black and blue
With one splashed hot pink rose?

Have ya ever taken life so hard
It makes ya wanna cuss?
If so, my friend, sit down come in
you're down dead one of us.

Sixteen candles on a cake,
A special wish still to make.
It seems like only yesterday,
You were but a child at play.
Now you stand almost grown,
The years ahead for you to own.
The sky's the limit for you, my dear,
So dream your dreams and don't you fear.
For now just bask in youthful glow,
Take a breath, make a wish, and blow.

Showing up marvelously in July’s early sunbeam.
Their lovely pink fuzziness shows no glare or loud sheen
They are as pretty as any beauty of sweet sixteen

Hollyhock princesses showing the garden off just so.
We can see their height no matter what our row.
They entice a delight as they tower and they grow.
Giving our garden as special warm spiritual glow.

Premium Member She's Wet

I took her hand at sweet sixteen
Kissed her on the cheek
The clouds looked down
We were about to be drowned
No umbrellas to protect our dreams

I held her hand
As we ran and ran
Raindrops kissing our cheeks
I gazed up at her delicious peeks
I said sorry sweet, do not cry

A tear she shed
As she bled
Her love was cut in two
She looked at me, as if to plea
Shivering she said, don’t mind me I am wet

Wipe away my damp memories

First Date

First Date

Oh, I died a thousand deaths
In my naivety
And lack of knowledge

Seventeen I was
And she was sweet sixteen.
She knew more than me.

My lips wetly stuck to hers
Her tongue licking my teeth.
I gagged. She laughed.

Just as well it was dark
When I fumbled at her breast
And missed.

I was beet-red
In the cinema dark.
I didn’t try again, of course.

I walked her home
And kissed her goodnight.
We didn’t go out again.

Premium Member Saving Terralay Honor and Reputation

TerraLay was a party girl.
Drinking and driving killed her.
We were horrified.
As were her parents.

We kept it from her church.
And her minister
For they saw her as an innocent.
A Bible-reader.
A sweet sixteen.

We sang TerraLay’s praises and used our manners.
Kept her alive and holy in their minds, in a peaceful, loving way.
Letting her retain all honor and reputation by not outing her in the least.
Saving her party-girl way memories for ourselves.
