Colors of sunsets
Artists cannot match
Yet we try anyway
~ our itch to scratch
At dusk the afternoon is dark
undresses the gold and worthily,
wear the ebony, but becomes invested
of dazzling joy...!

Surprised!
My heart is bound to heavenly views.
Where sunsets paint with vibrant hues.
(Written for Brian Strand's Crystalline Contest)
Sunrise stirs so softly,
Sunshine stretches skies, showing some shimmering shades.
Sunsets slowly stop shining.
Stars sparkle.
Constantly rushing through life
Missing out on which matters
Never admiring sunsets
Cellphones became gods!

Who am I if not,
Greeting sunsets with a smile
Dazed by the night sky
Making dreamlike plans for life,
Who am I if not with you
Boasted sunrises
And champagne sunsets fizzle
Long winded best men

Sorry if I'm not on more. Life. Here's a new one.
Sunsets make me think of you
They're beautiful, that's why they do
Just like you, so beautiful too
So sunsets make me think of you
Spectacular summer sunsets bathe the western hill
Beauty that inspires man to take up his poetic quill......

If it be true
time ticks backwards
the further west I wander,
how many more sunsets
shall illuminate my own visage
until I see yours?
i leave tomorrow.. when the sunsets low each day,, my mind gets blown away,, cant
stop from wanting to be with u,, my love is far away...
In the changing cerulean of the sky,
In the shadows of dusk,
In amber sunsets,
In the early morning drizzle,
I see the world in YOU.
In the changing cerulean of the sky,
In the shadows of dusk,
In amber sunsets,
In the early morning drizzle,
I see the world in YOU.
Each day is a prize
Grab with smiles
For glorious daylights
As morning unfolds
Make anew
And view sunsets gold

September
rinses
my skies blue
October’s
streaked sunsets
will have me
awash with wonder

Lost
colors
of a vague
sunset, unfolds
stars that paint sanguine
dreamscapes from pale
plum verses
of blurred
past
I never touched a love song
nor inhaled romantic art
I never lived poetry
Sunsets I now taste!
autumn haze creeps in
as dwindling summer sunsets
cast their last hurrahs-
the fruits have grown and ripened
now await their harvesting
Can you see me swim?
With dolphins back home I go
It's time for sunsets.
My Haiku is accompanied by one of my pictures of the sunset from my blog.
Enchanting hills laugh
Beyond the ridge of nature
Afternoons shimmer
Countryside’s beam light
From the sunsets of glory
Upon the white birch
Sunrise sunshine, sunlit sunsets
Radiant radiations radiantly radiating
Wonder-filled wonders, wonderful wonderings
Dreamily dreaming; dreamy dreamers
