Death Carved Out Her Path

betwixt the soul of night still young but bright death carved out her path for me through The River Styx

Where I Drink From Her Twice

yes i know
this river
all my life
i know
her twice
thus i go
to drink
from the
River Styx
where i drink
from her twice

To the River Styx

Tonight, the
Elevator doors
Open and close,
Satan believes
Down is up and
Up is down
We all fall
Fall deep
Unto the
River Styx

My Reaping

I went out in a mighty coughin fit
but oh how that coffin fit
oh it fit and it fit well
now i'm crossing the river styx
coastin right on into hell

Styx Reversed

unchained from death’s grip
getting away from a dark pit
rowing across the river Styx
back to the world of the living
freed at last, born once again.

A Spirit's Lullaby

Moonlight beckons the stray souls
conjured from pain and lost in time
Guided by memories and kins' yowls
they meld in styx with a blissful chime.

Styx

blood-red skies thunder
a dark boat hauntingly moves
across flaming seas.

On the river Styx, Charons’ boat moves quite slowly; the passage solemn; it will cost you for the ride. Charon does not work for free.

O Waiter At the River Styx

Oh waiter
at the river styx,
striking down the might and meek.

Thou scythe
is camped outside my door;
waiting...
as with us all.

To take the good ahead of schedule.

Elysium Fields Nevermore

Nevermore the river styx shall ye reach
The trickster has played his tricks leaving your bones to bleach
Take ye heed in life be fair or in death the raven will steal your fare.

“Styx and Stones”

bad entities exist here
we’ve crossed Styx

The Ancient River Styx

Young branches of
The sycamore tree,
Brushes the pastel blue sky

Then, I released these magic stones into
The hands of the sky, and
Witness the ripple reflection of
The ancient River Styx

Elusive Death

oh elusive death!
I am biding for your encounter
one feet already in hell fire
my beloved departed in wait on the other side
no bonds to hold me back
delay not my friend beyond the styx
my simple request is no allusive.

The Fallen Tyrant

Rinsed in Styx and forged for an eon,
    I've reaped a lot than I've verily sown;
Impelled by the soul of an obstinate scion,
I've born again to reclaim my throne.

Nyx

You called just to say
You’ve had enough of me
Distraught
Distracted with thoughts irrelevant
Sitting in dissonance
And starry eyed innocence
Tongue-tied
My heart died
It fell into the hands of Nyx
And thrown into the river Styx.

River Styx

Alone on the river Styx
untouchable by experience
in reach of warm safety
a reward constantly carroting
the current icy morrow
my solo journey
exciting lack
grey and without embrace
without redemption
without nature
away from god

A Drowned Sailor Sings To His Narwhal

Narwhal of antartic deep, trusty
heart my soul to reap, ferry last
my wet cold skin, cross the river
Styx of sin

And if you ask of me now gone,
enquiring where my light has shone,
speak them with salt-sea’s romance,
“He’s gone to prance the Narwhal’s
dance”

The Other Side of Reality

I look to the setting sun
Where my spirit sails
Across the river Styx
To the other side of reality
Where the angels
And spirits dwell

Into the arms of my loves
Waiting there
The scars of this world
Are a fading memory
As I sail
To the other side of reality

Premium Member Jonah and the Whale

Jonah found himself in a most dreadful fix

He nearly had an encounter with the River Styx

He was freed by the whale's timely regurgitation

Thus easing its bellyache and Jonah's expiration!

Price of War

yet it is the price of war, though blood does flow, the bloody more, mankinds curse is frightening, and death speaks in the writing, old Charon pulls the oar, on the Styx yet evermore, glazed eyes have coins, providing, passage by deaths door, no war is not inviting.... Don Johnson

My Love For Thee

Oh, my love for thee a harmony of benignant bliss Thus on my knee, I passionately plea that I may kiss Your luscious lips that will eclipse my salivating soul Sailing ships on the river Styx carry love that you stole. Feb.13.2018 Romantic charm in 4 lines Sponsored by: Silent One

Crack (The Story of Donald)

---#3 of 4---
quarter to six
listen to some Styx
and play the bass

jumping up and down
always messing around
nothing better too do

tripped over the amp,
bass guitar, and a ramp
fell out the window.

cracked open his head
better left unsaid
sorry for your loss.

now up in the sky
hanging with Ron, John and the big Guy.
