Grand Opera
He sat upon a bench for pay
To judge between right and wrong
Case by case they’d make their way
They’d sing their mournful songs

And in their pain and with their tune
He’s sometimes join the song
Until he heart the chord had changed
And knew he’d been strung along...

Obsessions
torture victom left alone with a few things to think about
like when a tree falls in the wind
chinese proverbs do come in handy

and when the lesson is learned
seemingly strung along
left alone in search of their own answers

Paradigm shift world round
soulmates at war cause everyone loves me...

The Pieces of My Heart
The pieces of my heart,
After being ripped apart
Are so really very small,
That I can hardly feel at all
Once it was quite strong,
Until I was strung along
By a man who said he loved me,
And with him he wanted me to be
The I found out it was a lie,
And all I wanted was to die
Now it's starting to heal again,
Maybe soon it'll be whole, but when...

Premium Member Spring Buds Strung
Sprung buds strung along branches burst into bloom
Unsung, a tad early, unheralded sly petals plume
A spurt and squirt of color to break winter's gloom and doom
Like the dabs of paint squeezed from tubes on brushes abloom
To paint a mantle cloak, donned each Spring, as a many-colored costume
To blot out Winter's chills, before coat is shed in Summer's cauldron spume...

Premium Member Ready For Christmas Celebration
Decorations fill the halls
Row of rolls of shining reds
Strung along the long walls
Followed by green and gold
The Christmas tree is ready
All gifts wrapped underneath
The buffet table is is long filled
with all types of food
The eggnog is waiting
At the hallway door hanging
A mistletoe over head hangs
Ready waiting for couples
To be underneath to kiss
On Christmas Day...

Premium Member Surrendered
He was so difficult to penetrate
it was like trying to infiltrate

he stayed strong
would not be strung along

until that day he cried
trying to cover it up he lied

so I let him be and gave him space
until he felt ready for my embrace

from that moment I felt like a hero
this me is needed, no longer a zero

he needed me in an unique way,
I did not feel like a cast away…...

Peace of Mind
As I'm listening to my favorite song.
By this world, I'm strung along.
Nothing in my life ever mattered.
Everything in my brain has scattered.
I keep trying to hold on to the past.
But all my fears have been cast.
I feel like my heart has been bleeding out.
What is all this about?
All my emotions have been racing.
There is too many problems I've been facing.
I'm thinking out loud.
Take me away on a cloud....

Premium Member Cobweb Wishes
A virgin wish, coupled with passion-a spray of luck-ambition,
can be foundation for sparkling things...
a first flight -a newborn cry
Gracefully treading nightmares in black finned nights.
Turning a death rattle into melodies in pearl
strung along the gilded wings of infinity.

A greying wish is an opaque endeavor.
It lends the hands to idling
creasing the satin of reality.
Old wishes dangle wearily from the ceiling
like dying Faries in a cobweb dream....

Existence Without Cause
Strung along, I am a fool
Always working for others
Once branded a handy tool
Foot on my neck
Boot lodged for good
I barter and sweat
A soul without identity
I work and work
Free food and amenities
However no ambition for more
The days stretch together
A day's work leaves me sore
Trapped by a leash hand-sewn
Never in search for better
I could have done well all alone
A life of nothing, wasted among time
Perhaps I could've done more
If you ask, I'm doing just fine
...

Hoping For the Best
We all want you to live
but if you are to die this night
make it quick
not drawn out, strung along
by gasps and moans.

Frankly, we are uncomfortable
being here seeing you like this.
Really it's most frustrating,
really quite inconsiderate
our deep compassion is running thin.
If death hovers over you now
then let the end begin.

We are all praying for our release,
itching to be anywhere else,
but timely death is running late
and we simply cannot wait

to mourn for you....
