Stage 2
Phased in Execution
Roll the Dice
( get the ball rolling )

God’s special child of favor
Filled by his wonder

They booed her on stage
Broke her heart on stage but still
She rose from ashes
as you hit the bright light
its the stage sight
so make a pancake
so you won't bake

STAGE
Form:
Her stage four metamorphous complete
She emerged into the beauty of the day
Bringing sunlight only a nineteen-year-old beauty can bring
Soft swell of Saturn,
the rings have begun to spin
gorging on the frost.
Sea goats are now center stage,
seasonal winds take control.
why would realistic
politicians hire someone
to fake reality
no more fakes on stage
we want real peolple with real
answers to problems
trunk rooted essence
sprouting greenness and flowers
actor changing mask

A sage embarasses his friend
drains the blood from his face
prefaces a bit of his friend's earthly end
in Perpetuity the stain hath no place
In-front-of-class speech,
a mock defense for debate.
I was too nervous.
My throat was unbuttered toast,
too dry to utter a word.
Life's a Stage
Where humans rage
From which is torn
Its worst page
Death's a Friend
We can't transcend
Nor comprehend
Its Divine end
I look out my window.
The moon is all aglow.
The sky tonight is indigo.
Stars they come and go.
For me produce a show.

Unfinished
This world
To be conquered
When the lights
Finally go out
On this stage
When the
Curtains drops
Your majesty,
We shall be
Diminished
you aren't
a geisha
you can't
be kabuki
we can
perform
together
with our
expressful
masks of
wood
if you want
you should
just say noh

I prefer to feel that I have shook hands with existing with the Present; recognizing that my yesterdays will persistently tyrannize my once buoyant tomorrows.
God’s painted fingers grant day’s descent

For Kim's "Valentine Crystalline" challenge
I took my date to see Mick Jagger
But later she started to stagger
Said "I have some bad news"
Then she puked on my shoes
So I just decided to bagger
before going on
we get ready to belong
we move and grove
to the band
who be on hand
when we hit the stage stand
than we tip like prancer
THE
BACK STAGE DANCER
When we reach a certain age
Money is an issue at this late stage
Our dwindling funds
Make it no longer fun
Our accounts are surely in need of some aid
Darkness takes over just before
The dim lights shine on my balloons
A happy facade MUST appear

Like a song we all like to improvise as we all go along.
Like a stageplay we like to have reasons to pretend and play.
Like a semblance we like to be with whom bring us balance.
Grief is not a straight line
it meanders down
echo cobbles
hiding in
black shadow forest
tendril fingertips
gnarled and knotted
pull you back
to a rememberance
of the gone
Should Set the Stage
What we should do is to set the stage,
For all of the unruly behavior and rage;
Lie created;
And irritated,
That caused minute minds to engage.
Jim Horn
A Humorous limerick takes the stage,
reading a limerick at any age.
Your fun words made me blush,
now I have a huge crush.
Take a bow for your words and go backstage.
