Spyro Haiku 4

Breeze through the harbor
Nasty though it may be to
get to the Tree Tops.
The fools that spring to life in
These woods are invincible.

In Trial Times

IN TRIAL TIMES

Paddle! Paddle!! Paddle!!!
Paddle your pirogue down the valley
Even when your moment seems heavy
Spring to life in tasteless tingling time
Only the gritty nibbles with the rhythm of time.

Quelled By Nature

listlessly, leaves droop
withering in summer's heat ~
nimbus clouds gather

thunder's mighty roar
commands slate gray skies, "Open" ~
sparrows seek shelter

petals spring to life
quelled by nature's gift of rain ~
sunlight smiles with warmth
Form: Haiku

Premium Member A Musical Spring

The trees so whisper
A whoosh simple tease
Their voice in the breeze
When the sun ray’s shine
Upon new born leaves.

No bluebell blues
Natures carpet
A symphony
Of colour tall.

Harmonized
Yellow heads
Spring to life.

Blackbird
In song.

Sings.

Food of Choice

A red ripe, sweet strawberry, fragrant tangy kisses. Tart and sweet on my tongue.
Fresh as spring, light and fit. Your rough exterior contrasts to my softness. Small
town homebody, full of seeds that spring to life on fertile soil.

Thanks for the inspiration!!

Premium Member Sailing Boats

Sunset by the bay
A windy dusk strays

I spy vast sail boats
Limpid lines float

Impact flings a cue
Now seagulls breach view

Glimpse no soul in sight
Brief sojourn feels light

Observe the calm sea
Aim my sights to be

Tales of long ago
Spring to life some more

The Wonder of Jesus

Tell me why oh why

Why birds do fly

Why clouds drift by so slowly

How in sunny skies

Flowers spring to life

The earth and sky our glory

Pray tell someone so right

Would bloom to blow away

Why memories dance the waltz of love and hate

What tomorrow will be

May sadden me

Why do I feel love

when I hear his name~ "I'm Born Again"
Form: Verse

Iam a Girl

I am bound in shackles
Centuries
Now I must discharge.
Binding to open the
Give me freedom
He must now force.
I want to fly
Opinionated in Gagan
On '' I want mine.
I'm the girl
Yes I am a girl
So what happened
I should have the right to live too.
Not now Shungi bond
Not now will raise customs
Loads of chains
Yes, I too now
Should spring to life.

Association Memory

Communication is association
Let the garden of thought flow
Great strides are made in venting
Simply voicing images, passion grows
Dreams situate themselves unknown
Independently arising, mirages blow

The floating energy grows titanic
Ambition unleashed in heat
Soon leading to decisive action
Even in our cardboard world
Mummies of memories spring to life
A verdant pulse is culled

Premium Member The Time Between Seasons

Canopy fire way up high
A Season’s change before the eye
What beauty; to live and die.

Howling winds, whipping all around
Leaves find their way unto the ground
Forest floor they do abound.

The seasons changing right on cue
Each passing day; night will subdue
Prevailing darkness in lieu.

This is the tale of every Fall
As every winter has to thaw
Leaves spring to life; reinstall.

Premium Member Colours Spring To Life

Listen to poem:
the carpet of snow
inch by inch disappears
earth covered with sleep
ever so gently awakens

the thaw sets in motion
streams gurgling and tingling
and birds rush home to nest
while colours of spring come to life

Guru chakra announces the master’s presence
Subtle, soft, humming tingling, rapture ineffable
Joyous peace, infused by sublime bliss incense
In-form nodes entwine in intimate dance affable

It is here wherefrom love magnetism is regulated
Constant flux of soma nectar within body flowing
Dormant conduits spring to life feeling now elated
Thoughts recede and heart’s aura begins glowing

Oh Little Pill

Oh little pill that makes the death in me spring to life!! Oh how I love to taste your bitter love and wear the handcuffs you've gifted me with! Oh little pill that decides who I will be today!! Thank you so much little pill for all of your sweet numbness and Please,Please never walk away from me because without you my little pill---I would have to feel. Please little pill I don't want to feel....anything...ever again.

Premium Member A Stranger

Skies of unrepentant gray
   Unrelenting day to day
Gloom ensconced in your brain
Hope waxes not; it only wanes

When at the door, who appears?
A stranger in whose eyes flash fear
Abruptly, senses so long dulled
Spring to life, your courage culled

Turns out you help him; he is pursued
By whom or what, not clear to you
Yet this much know, and mark it well --
   It's mankind's plight wakes death's knell

Poetry Shan'T Portray You

I could pen a thousand lines or maybe more
Solely to esteem the majestic skies
One million more, merely
To tell the tales about thine eyes

Upon every verse and hereafter
Thy beauty shall ever spring to life
Each word, a heart surrogating
As passions pulse ignites

Then, each in breath recital
In what ne're thoughts can entitle
Aught all of thy love of all days these
And still poetry shan’t near, to ever begin, to portray thee

Premium Member Happiness Promenades

Listen to poem:
Uncovering the earth, as the snow finally fades Sunny days; bringing, aesthetically soothing jades Towns spring to life, with congruent daily parades Simply enjoying life, in its moments and decades; Words following free; in poetically wild chardes A deck of playing cards filled with hearts; and no spades When the evening sets its sight the joy, it still never degrades Fulfilling; is discovering; when happiness, promenades

Premium Member Bin Or Keeper

When I put pen to paper
words take on some meaning
as they drop from my pen

A life of their own
they begin to form
as sentences are made

Each portrays a thought
showing often more than meant
revealing deep hidden feelings

As the sentences spring to life
verses start to be formed
telling a certain tale

Sometimes of joy, others of woe
when at last I lie my pen aside
blank paper there is no more

A new poem comes to life
Sitting back I read afresh
will it be bin or a keeper?
