Premium Member Bad Karma

I would much rather have the karma of being eaten by hungry lions
Than be a spectator cheering for human death in a Roman coliseum

Spectator

Rising
From the sand

Modified glass
An unusual spark

Passing over
A shifting wait

Leaving a trace
Open incite

Spilling out
A whisper

Rising

Wets
The
Lips.

Me

Me a forgotten poem in a forgotten paradise. Me an incomplete story in an abysmal world. Me a spectator in the spectacular crowd. Me just another face in the infinite crowd.

As We Were In the Theater

Inside,
instinct
intact
beast...

on the outside,
pure theater
study...

I went before,
actor of your actions,
now only
spectator
absent... but

still i'm living
your actions...
That's a fact... !

Own Any Of This;

Spectator;
An Intro-Spection.

The Opportunity,
But It's Not Mine:

Poem For Someone Distant

I still admire you
but distant
as a spectator...
of film art noveau !
Cruel to me you are
the more I call you
the less you answer me,
but I love you even more,
 you never accepted...
You only want me far away!

The Dance of the Phosphorescences

witness moonlight
phosphorescences danced
on the lake scene

the leaf rustling was the only music
fishes were spectator

you missed a lot of things
maybe were your sweet dreams
but the view was beyond imagination

Flashback

These memories are just phantoms
the dust of demons long since destroyed
why does the mind always betray
maybe this what it means to be human
they are the ashes of ancient ruins
from a long forgotten war
whose only spectator was me

A Writer's Two-Way Mirror

A writer’s two-way mirror

Unseen, I watched the live actor.
My eyes followed every gesture.
Speckled realities captured
My senses re-manufactured.
Next time I will remain a mere spectator.

23:30 - Spectator

The moon, she dips behind the hill.
She hides from me, and always will.
And in the glass I see my eyes
Two ghosts of love and empty lies.
The road is lost beneath my feet
As I keep watch where heavens meet.
And signs instruct: Avoid the Ice,
Keep your Distance. Good advice.

Unseen

Ah! But to be unnoticed
But to be in the shadows of
life's living day by day

To be the veiled spectator
of a father cutting grass and
a child in the sandbox-

To witness these normal things
normal people do on a normal day
is pure ecstasy to one who
glides past all like an unseen
wind.

The Spectator

The Spectator Like, once I said I watch You climb the ladder with steps made of words And once you wear the crown I’ll still be watching Smiling and applauding Among the audience Wishing goodness Deep inside that corner of my heart -puvi- (9/9/2016)

Naive Spectator

Weeping and tears for the dead hero
It was when mother watched a film true
So big eyes when watched
Same one in next fussed
Asked," How do the dead come to film foe?"

Wedding Ceremony

It comes roaring busting like thunder, warning every spectator
Carrying the smiles carrying the laughter, parameter of hope
People gather to sing and swing, a spring of continuity and good
All the stinking scrotal carriers, emptied by mere castrations
Many thinK to eat and dance, two think to contact and merry

Premium Member The Role Of Spectator

One has a pair of wings the other none,
both possess a different shade of beauty.
That bird’s able to fly the man can run,
to each the other’s life seems so easy.
The man can relay ancient stories spun
as birdsong jams decorating the Sun.
Both will capture the spirit of nature
while enjoying the role of spectator.

Super Bowl Sunday

Under the mind blowing lights
Forceful men embrace in tights
Gigantic spectator enjoyment delights

O' Super Bowl Sabbath show
Everybody in Land of Liberty know
Time for the pivotal moment glow

Everyone's yearning for their gang to win
Tis' all that folks are sayin'
Here, poetry in forward motion begin 'n spin

Work the Faith

You have been set free
To set others free
Faith is not
A spectator sport
Learn a simple truth
Share it
Discover your gift
And release it
Hook up
On a project
Not as the boss
But as a partner
Give your ear
Not your tongue
To talk her story
Look for opportunities
And meet the needs
Others passed
By the other side

Premium Member Pink Of My Eye

Been in a trip, not long ago
Seen a pink flower, hidden in the trees.
Teen was I when the flower caught my eye
Keen as a spectator when I went under my knees.

Another pink flower I saw, so rich
Above an attic, way too far from my reach
A speck got into my eye as I tried to pick it
Under a tall tree is a bird, noshing a peach.

Premium Member I Contemplated

I CONTEMPLATED

I contemplated reality
As a spectator
And
Found no answers

I contemplated reality
As a part of it
And
Stumbled on possibilities

I contemplated reality
As a member of it
And
Faced understanding

I contemplated reality
As an agent of it
And
Discovered the path to
TRUTH!

Spectator

I see love.
I see betrayal.
I see everything—
yet no one looks at me.

I stand alone, watching,
feeling things I shouldn’t.
I wish I were hollow—
then maybe it wouldn’t hurt so much.

I touch. I feel.
Yet still, no one sees.
The warmth of life brushes past,
and I wish I were dead inside,
just stone,
just silence,
just stillness.

rein

Rain

I like Rain, not hard angry rain with an attitude
who was neglected ,by the mother cloud and
its hate shows hatred who has nothing do do
to do towards it misbegotten infanthood
No. I'm not thinking o soft rein
And nature still has a moment, denied by
the dampness of my skullcap
I''m jus a spectator who wants to go home 1

Premium Member The Food Chain

The lion and the Zebra in a duel of life
The hunter and the hunted
As spectator in the food chain
It can be daunting and also haunting

A run to catch the prey
Running away from the predator
This is normal in the Serenegeti
Survival of the fittest in the grasslands
It5the food chain making its rounds.
