Family
They say that time's a healer
And many things will mend
But we are running out of hours
To sort it in the end
There has been too many bruises
Too much damage has been done
Is it really worth fixing?
Or should we turn and run?...

Premium Member Misunderstanding for Grandpa
He is a crackshot I told his great-grandpa
Grandpa misheard; he thought I called him a crackpot
It took awhile for us to sort it out
In the meantime, grandpa was angry, showing a pout.
Not sure he ever fully understood
The beginning of dementia is never good....

Is it or not

that the fittest make it

the weak may not

survival depends

on attitude

frame of mind

positivity

you come like

a tornado in

my face but

I can see through

the destruction

now it's position

that matters

status you say

 I say it is

a case of

push and shove

trying to dominate

time will sort it....

Sort It Out
What am i doing
who the hell am i
one disaster to the next
always involves another guy
just take a look and pause
cos theres a pattern forming and i am the cause
look in the mirror
look around
come on me try a higher ground
maybe listen to the people who actually care
and change the routine
to myself, i dare!

Puddle Power
A toddler and a puddle’s
Like a magnet and some nails.
All logic is abandoned;
Spontaneity prevails.

There’s no thought of discomfort,
Of one’s clinging clothing damp;
Just joy in jumping jauntily,
A puddle pounding champ.

As we grow up we lose that edge
And life becomes a muddle.
Perhaps we’d sort it out if we
Could splash into a puddle!...

The Slipper
The Slipper

She lost a one blue slipper
oh One ,goodness sake
'it can't have gone to far'
but cold foot did it make !

A week then comes and goes
no slipper to be seen
so nothing else to sort it
'it's lost' ...well l mean !

Yes , nothing else for it
today off to the shops
bright red ones to stand out
now THAT one to is lost !!!...

A Step Back
There's only so much you can give
I'm not going to waste my time on passive
Because i'm still here having to explain
Why all our recklesness was in vain

Felt like i was only here to help you sort it all out
And now i can't stand any of the words you spout
Molding yourself around my mere projection
You appear to be bellow previous expectations...

The Australian Yobbo
Go on holiday to Bali it is so great
A gut full of grog I just can’t wait
Walking the streets being high as a kite
Is the holiday I want it’s so right

For the locals can see how it is for me
The Consulate will sort it out so easily
So see me drop kicking a motorcycle rider
Australian yobbos on holiday it’ll really grind ya.

Premium Member Irene Boxes Up her Mess
Irene boxed it all up and took it outside.
There were five thousand one hundred and twenty-five boxes.
If you sort one box every day, you will have this sorted in no time.

Irene was a mathematician.
She divided it out.
If she sorted one box a day
It would take her fourteen years to sort it all out.

She went back inside and got a match.
The fire burned for three days...

By Definition It Adds Up To Zero
By all means
I know what
This comprises
Of

Simple advances
Complex thoughts
And one big
Nothing

Sort it out by
Making lists
Hoping it helps
To showcase
The missed

Simple words
Complex emotions
And one big
Nothing

By all means
Why don't you
Just say what
You mean
Clearly and loudly
So my heart can
See all that is not
And all that will
Not be

Simple looks
Complex actions
And one big
Nothing...

Environment
A tidal wave of waste is going to our seas
An avalanche of machinery cutting down our trees
Why do we do this to the place we call our world
This mass of eco destruction is getting quite unfurled!
How can we stop it?
Give Mother Nature her beauty back
Instead of this constant attack
We need a super mass army
To stop the world going barmy!
Soon they'll be no countryside
Maybe then we'll all get wise!
We need to sort it now...

A Universal Mirage
Here alone I sit
 Wondering what it's all about
 Taking every little bit
 Trying to sort it out

 The world once was born
 Under some ingenuous being
None of us are slightly torn
 We do without seeing

 When grabbing some time
We have tried to break the seal
 Without one sensible rhyme
it wraps us in its chill

 We hold life by strings
 That knot together without cause
 it constantly pulls with wings
 Doing so without pause...

Kansas Scarecrow
My mood is dark, sultry
As passion plays my mind.
The summer storm is blowing in
So, I respond in kind.

Passions seek an outlet
No walls can it contain.
Catching the breeze upon her lips
She calls her lover’s name.

The winter winds return.
A chill is in the air.
The Kansas Scarecrow laughs in glee
And hasn’t got a care.

Her heart, ripped and tattered,
She curls up in a ball.
Seeking the warmth of fire
She tries to sort it all....

What Is What
What is what?
I never thought,
In my mind it always fought.

When I asked the teacher to sort it out,
She told to never ask such doubts.
It runs in my mind throughout.

When I asked my mother to sort it out,
She said that she had the same doubt.
But it runs in my mind throughout.

When i asked my father to sort it out,
He said that he is going out
But it runs in my mind throughout.

Someone help me to sort it out
            WHAT IS WHAT?
Which I never thought....

The Elephant
There's an Elephant in the room.
The tension filled the air all day,
Neither party dared to assume,
Dismay held sway in its gloomy way.

There's an Elephant in the room,
One could almost smell the beast
It permeated all throughout,
It needed clearing at the very least.

So if you find yourself in this state,
Declare the problem before it's too late.
Sort it out before it has chance to consume,
For no one likes an Elephant in the room.

The Eccentrics
The Eccentrics are not born as such
They emerge from a very usual bunch,
From the very ordinary of us
With the same colored hair, skin and eyes.

Only one fine day, when they wonder again
‘What’s the point of living your life in vain?’
The unnoticed to others child-simpleton
Gets nicknamed the ‘Eccentric’ from there on.

And, not getting the answers from grown ups
And unwilling to settle for doubt,
The Eccentric starts writing poems or songs -
In the hope to sort it all out…
