Snowflake
by Amy Swanson 12/2008
Tiny white snowflake
iridescent purity
rides on winter's winds.
Jack Frost on his toes
fairies dressed in white tutus
snowflake pirouettes

Unique, Vulnerable
Isolated Within Condition
Exceptional, Innocent, Unparalleled, Perplexing
Autism
Spring
One perfect forlorn last snowflake
To lemon drop tulip flies
Sleep dormant to blossom life
To waking kiss and ready sighs
Seed frozen in cloud
forms head, wings, limbs, in spiral.
Fly angel snowflake!

first day of the year
a snowflake falls
onto my shawl

Cuddle me this
Dipped in a painted bliss
drip
drip
drop
She wets my lips
sip
sip
sop
I fail to wake up
The snokeflake melts
Mystic dancer
She glistens like diamonds
Fragile as a falling snowflake
Fluid as waterfalls
A Geisha's strength
in this so cool morn
marvelous sight of the bird
desert cardinal
snowflake with pink red flowers,
and smooth shade of gray feathers
the fallen leaves lay
like broken stained glass decay . . .
a snowflake drifts down
May memories of Christmas past
fall like snowflakes this Christmas Day…
There to make you smile for a moment
before they fade away
A
Winters
Icy nights
Bring nightmares cold
And unfriendly clouds,
Of snowy-gray
To rain down
Snowflake
Lace.
This snowflake is the tastiest she said.
There is a united gasp from the others.
As she has chosen the yellow snowflakes
Seasoned by dog.
Swirling, twirling
Crisp and white,
It’s a snowflake
Kind of night…
Crystals shimmer
By moonlight,
Building castles
Till daylight…
snowflake
journey over
resting
a child’s tongue
tingling

A robin’s song flies
Up into the air and meets
Small silver snowflakes—
The song spreads its wings to dance
On top of snowflake silence.
I am a liberal snowflake.
I’m threatened by words that you make.
If you don’t agree,
Don’t dare let me see
Because I am WOKE not awake.
For my loves kisses,
Are like snowflakes,
That has fallen,
Upon my lips,
So pure,
And so beautiful,
Something I hope,
Never melts away.
Snowflake jamboree
Reflected falling in ice.
Double white pleasure!
Snowflake sonata,
Played by the wind in the trees.
Using icicles!
Today I’m grateful for snowflakes
and how they remind me every day…
to enjoy each moment (like each snowflake)
before that moment melts away.
Oh pretty snowflake
Gentle on my face
Oh delicate beauty
Like Belgian lace
Oh pretty snowflake
Thing of grace
You were here
Now not a trace

came to the earth
as if air was her stage
and she was born to perform it
dancer
Winter's first snowflake
Gently falls upon my tongue
Nature melts with-in
Icicles forming
Growing swords to frozen mounds
Freeze pops of nature
AUTUMNS FALL FIRST SNOW FLAKE
i felt the breeze cold
white frozen rain comes autumn
falls first snowflake falls
