Snow Job
No matter how hard you may show
It will shrivel up in the snow
But don't take the word
Of a little bird
Because icicles grow and grow!...

Questioning Fear
Why do I even try if all I do is lie?
Is it wrong to squander a life?
Is it wrong to shrivel up, consumed by strife
I see the faces of those I counted on
I remember them, but I’m already gone
Maybe it’s time to enter the beast, kill or be killed, the fighting does not cease...

Monster
never do you stop and think
as you shrivel up and slowly shrink
with each sip of that dastardly devils drink
that the meat so tender and so yellowish pink
was something that could once see and blink
a somewhat someone who's heart did sink
when that night you prowled the dark precinct...

On Your Own
I see you had a hard time
On your own
It's shown
In your unstoppable eyes
Don't hide them now
Break this core of opposing anger
That scratches your cheeks
like plucking thorns out of rose pedals
and ruefully marking their landing
You are on your own
Since you refused my helping hand
Making me shrivel up like rocks grinding into sand
You're making me wonder
How is it that you can
Move on on your own?...

Blazing Through Trauma
It is time to pack up, and run over the stepping stones.
Do not slip, for under the water lies sleeping bones.
I promise to blaze a trail through this fog, to let others escape.
But for the poor voices behind me, I can not wait.
There is nothing special out here.
But I can not risk becoming planted in there.
To shrivel up is not my fate.
I’d rather live in crisis than be poisoned behind that gate....

Awry
Sometimes plans just go awry
Despite your best intentions.
Then you rally and you try
Assorted interventions.
You could shrivel up and die
From all the added tensions,
But to do so would defy
The normative conventions.
It’s a waste to wonder why
There have to be dissensions.
Life is likely to supply
Dilemmas and detentions.
So the thing to do is sigh
And focus your attentions
On ways for you to pacify
Your growing apprehensions....

I see no shelter
I see no shelter,
while I move past the crowds,
eager to put down the burden,
weighed upon my shoulders.
I see no shelter,
to quench my undying thirst,
in the scorching heat of loneliness,
that shrivel up my hopes.
I see no shelter,
to hide from the sun's flare,
that blinds my sight,
hindering my journey ahead.
For all I see are men,
hastening around me,
waiting for none but for themselves,
among the ravening....

Haters
Does Haters make you mad
There's a certain limit, you get angry or sad
Your thoughts begin to shrivel up
Like leaves all brown and dried
Really you're tired and frustrated inside!
Haters don't have anything else to do
They concentrate only on you
Their criticizers, miserable, and jealous
Most of them are just careless
Me, do I have Haters, I don't know
They don't scare me, they're like the wind
when it slightly blow
Haters, Haters, Haters...

Mixed Emotions
living in a shadows blackness
in a room of total darkness
taking life a step at a time
trying to find this emotion of mine
stop and take a long deep breathe
never shall you stop to rest
trying hard to hold on tight
dont let go without a fight
falling down a twisted protal
dont you wish you were immortal?
now to die the sacred death
hurry, take your one last breathe
let one more tear fall from your eye
before you shrivel up and die....

I do not know?
Loud Regret
Noisy noise,
brain drowning in Static
voices pounding on my head
uncontrollable panic.
Feeling manic;
no air to breath, no sleep.
eyes glazed all dead inside,
need to shrivel up and weep.
Reached dead end,
are we friends?
Do I even relate
To anything you say?
The act you play
you demonstrate
we do not coordinate.
I'm fed up-drowning in this mess up,
lets rewind the clock and shut this down
I spy the game you spun and it seems like
none of us have won....

Garden Dilemma
GARDEN DILEMMA
Can someone please explain to me
A thing I find a mystery?
Though I attack with spade and hoe
The weeds I do not wish to grow,
Despite the effort and the pain,
Within a week they’re back again.
While plants I nurture every day,
Shrivel up and fade away.
There’s something I’m not doing right.
And so, I’m giving up the fight.
I’m digging up the flower bed.
I’ll build a patio instead.
