Blazing Through Trauma

It is time to pack up, and run over the stepping stones. Do not slip, for under the water lies sleeping bones. I promise to blaze a trail through this fog, to let others escape. But for the poor voices behind me, I can not wait. There is nothing special out here. But I can not risk becoming planted in there. To shrivel up is not my fate. I’d rather live in crisis than be poisoned behind that gate.
