On Your Own

I see you had a hard time On your own It's shown In your unstoppable eyes Don't hide them now Break this core of opposing anger That scratches your cheeks like plucking thorns out of rose pedals and ruefully marking their landing You are on your own Since you refused my helping hand Making me shrivel up like rocks grinding into sand You're making me wonder How is it that you can Move on on your own?
