When you adopt a pet from a shelter, two lives get saved by you.
The one you adopt and its replacement that gets rescued.
shouldn’t
but
feeling
the
necessity
to
shield
and
protect
myself
from
abuse

A heart devoted to God's love would never give shelter to hate!

nights show me naked
flying far from lights
I took shelter upon nights ---
just for lonely vein

You are my shelter
My foundation
And in between
The room
To furnish
With a dream

I have no roof to shelter under
When the sky begins to rain
For an umbrella through the thunder
I will always hope in vain.
I am your cinderella make me your bride,
Give me shelter I have no place to hide..
Cinderella kisi or ki dulhan na ban jana..
taking animals home
from a kill shelter
is not a hobby
or a right
or a mission
it is a given
i have done it nineteen times
Falling leaves
announce colors
pronounce change
demand sweaters
shelter
hot tea
stories
available upon request
Bombs blasting indiscreetly
Love seeking shelter from the fallout.
Marriage merriment—

Familiar
Annoying at times
Miracles
I love them all!
Lend me the shirt off their backs
Your family tree is the best shelter!
Listen to poem:
give a little,
squeeze a little drop,
give up on,
the illusion of seclusion
belay to open up,
to be becalmed
to be becoming.
this i can't forget
you can bet
it was a pain
it begin to rain
my phone begin to beep
i ran shelter i seek
ending up with
WET FEET
The Eagles Nest
The master’s shelter
Once promised eternal reign
My city strangles
Rich Man, Poor Man,
Beggar Man, Thief.
A Soldier, Sailor,
And a Tinkering Taylor.
All shelter me
From this intolerable grief.
Rich Man, Poor Man,
Beggar Man, Thief.
A Soldier, Sailor,
And a Tinkering Taylor.
All shelter me
From this intolerable grief.
Life Rhythm
rain drumbeats my shelter
reach for the blanket you made me

so where do I live
in a tent in the woods
shelter kicked me out
after 90 days
with no other
place to stay
I had to fend
for myself
late summer
we gulp spring water from mason jars
during the harvest
and lay out sandwiches for lunch
and shelter in the barn from storms
appreciation,
receiving food and shelter,
opportunity,
supportive family, friends;
don’t waste this chance existence.
People fight with nature
They dig the ground for gems
For oil, for water, for shelter
For energy, for food, for life
And for regeneration.
night's moonlit arbour
laden with blooming desires,
lovers' secret shelter
